30/11/2020

So another new week and the last day of November 2020, but nothing has changed because the pandemic is still kicking our butts while politicians keep scrambling to make us believe they are doing everything to correct this world predicament while screwing up big style. Let’s see what has happened over the weekend shall we?

Well America still goes about ignoring the fact they are dying by the thousands, just so they can keep their liberties and freedom as afforded them by the same constitution that allows the orange man to be paid to golf instead of serving the people. Trump spent yet another day on the golf course which he keeps stating is his weekly exercise regime while insisting he does work while swinging his clubs. What you see is a man lost amongst the rough metaphorically and literally because he still refuses to accept the voters choice that he is no longer wanted.

So while Trump miserably wanders the Virginia course, the rest of the US is entering into a precarious situation just before Christmas, according to the country's top advisor on COVID-19. Dr Anthony Fauci, head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, warned a travel-heavy ‘Thanksgiving’ holiday could make the current situation nationwide even worse and predicted “a surge superimposed on the surge we are already in”. Fauci Spoke NBC's Meet the Press programme stressing an importance of continuing to take precautions such as mask wearing and social distancing but emphasised that restrictions may be necessary to protect people over Christmas. Trump has continually played down the spread of the virus and has refused to take decisive action because he feared it would badly affect his re-election campaign, but that had a negative effect anyway as he clearly lost the election, but is still doing nothing about the pandemic. Instead he keeps pushing unsubstantiated lawsuits at the states he lost and keeps getting knock back after knock back as his incompetent law team tries to lie and bluff judges.

In his team’s latest attempt, a US federal appeals court has firmly rejected the Trump campaign's attempt to block President-elect Joe Biden from being declared winner in Pennsylvania. The panel of three judges deemed the case was without merit, saying the Trump campaign had not made specific allegations or provided proof. The ruling is another major setback for Trump in his attempts to overturn the November 3rd election result, whilst last Thursday he finally stated he would give way if Mr Biden was declared the winner, but on Friday he again made unfounded allegations of “massive voter fraud”, tweeting: “Biden can only enter the White House as President if he can prove that his ridiculous '80,000,000 votes' were not fraudulently or illegally obtained”. America your current president is clearly having a mental breakdown, because Biden doesn’t have to prove a thing. The point of a vote is for the people to choose and then for the states to count, recount and then certify the count, Biden doesn’t have a say in any of it. The emphasis is now on Trump to prove mismanagement or fraud which he is unable to do except stir up hatred on twitter, which should be getting censored as it is a clear provocation to incite mass unrest within the far right militia’s and gun nuts like the seventeen year old who shot and killed unarmed civilians.

And while Trump takes his frustration out on a little white ball, the new president-elect has released what his 'Press Team' will look like naming an all-female complement for the first time in US history as he transitions towards a more equality biased Whitehouse for the future. Biden has finally hit the ground limping as over the weekend he managed to fracture his foot while playing with his dog meaning he will be seen modelling the new style of presidential footwear in the form of a surgical boot whilst his foot heels, but I don’t suppose that will slow him down as he moves forward with his presidential future. All in all America needs to get some common sense, stop ignoring what is actually happening to them as a nation and remove Trump before he has a major meltdown committing extreme acts of sabotage from within the Whitehouse because as an outsider all I see is a country on the knife-edge of extremism, fascism and controlled by an unstable leader who could snap in a second.

On that note I will skip back to dear old Blighty to see what has happened over the weekend here. Well as we head towards the lockdown end date and new tiered restrictions in England, which is now only two days away, Johnson has stated that there is “every reason” to believe “the worst is nearly behind us” as he seeks to pacify and win round a 70-strong group of sceptical Tory MPs in an attempt to head off a backbench rebellion over Covid-19 curbs. On Tuesday the Commons will vote on the strengthened three-tier system, the prime minister wrote to the COVID Recovery Group (CRG) [whose members have been pushing for a cost-benefit analysis of the economic, health and social impact of the measures] to quell concerns. Yet dozens of Conservative MPs are still expected to abstain or vote against measures that would put nearly 99% of England’s population in the top two tiers this week, effectively banning households from mixing indoors whilst in tier 3 areas, forcing pubs and cafes to become takeaways. Over the weekend reports emerged that London only avoided being placed under tier 3 restrictions after Treasury figures suggested half a million jobs could be at risk. This decision which is hypocritical at best was advocated for by Michael Gove, yet another bloody southerner and once again proves London gets preferential treatment over the rest of the British Isles as it always has. I myself think parliament should be decentralised to a midway point in the country so as to give MP’s a better commutable position and take some of the London bias out of the equation when it comes to decision making because we have for too long been governed by the south when London is just a minuscule area of the country. Anyway that is a rant for another time.

What we are seeing is a government in freefall without a parachute to slow their perilous decent as the situation with COVID gets worse rather than better even though Johnson and his cabinet would have us believe otherwise. Even a study performed over the month long lockdown has only shown a third of a reduction in the amount of registered cases which is not what was expected. Questions need to be asked of how effective shutting down the country really is, or is it that people are simply not isolating properly, or are the rules been ignored as more people disagree with the government’s policies. No one can really say. What is been seen is a government at war with itself over inept and incompetent decision making by a leader who has no idea of how to govern a cabinet let alone govern a country. He is been shown up by the first ministers of the devolved cabinets in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland for just how useless he really is. He has been in charge of his political party for just over a year and in charge of the country for less than a year of a four year term, and he has made a shambles of both as the people who he bribed and conned to back him are starting to regret their stupid decision.

All in all the British Isles is on the precipice of a very large drop with the pandemic, economy and Brexit swirling down the toilet of oblivion called the Tory government’s policy making at the forefront of the reason we as a country face such a dismal future without an horizon to aim for. We need change and we need it drastically without delay, so we can right our sinking ship, HMS United Kingdom before we go the way of the Titanic which was also thought indestructible.

As I sit here and read about what is going on in the world, I find it unsettling that a planet with so much technology and innovation can still be struck down by a disease which up to now has lasted uncontrolled for nearly eleven months in some areas, been the cause of over a million deaths worldwide and has brought economic brevity to countless nations, but still we see those in power doing nothing to counteract the circumstances we live under and instead profiteer off the suffering of the masses. Call me ignorant, but surely would it not be a better situation if the big conglomerates were made to payback more of their profits in to a society of equality and the billionaires who profit off the sweat and blood of the workers be made to live a capped threshold, for example, anyone earning say a hundred [which ever currency they use] an hour be made to pay half that back to the people. I know it’s a pipe dream that will never work, but we can dream! Anyway on that little bit of fantasy, I will call it a day,

Rant you tomorrow!

Back Wednesday.

Friday 27 November 2020

27/11/2020

he End of the week and the in to the final three days of November we head with nothing close to been sorted in both the US and the UK on politics or pandemic fronts. It’s simply one ‘shitshow’ after another with little movement in the middle except for more ‘BS’ been slung like manure across the fields we call life. On that let’s see what has been happening.

So America the baby in the big white house at the end of the street says ‘YES’ he will leave the sanctuary of the bomb shelter in the basement respecting the Electoral College vote should they certify Biden, but warns it will be a “very hard thing to concede” after stating that if the Electoral College votes for Joe Biden, he will “certainly” leave the White House, “and you know that”. Well Trump has now openly stated Biden won even if he did still claim fraud, he has told the GSA to start the transition roll out and now let it be known he will vacate the premises if the Electoral College votes for Biden, are we missing something? Has he got an ace tucked away up his sleeve to pull out, slap down and start giggling that he got you and will not be moving? There is something clearly underhanded been played down for Trump to suddenly become all nicely nicely and want to play with the big boys and girls again. Yet during questions asked of him Trump reverted back to baby Trump by getting angry with a reporter who asked repeatedly if he would concede the election when the Electoral College votes for Joe Biden next month, Mr Trump lost his temper with the reporter pointing his finger menacingly while screeching:

“Don’t talk to me that way, you’re just a lightweight, don’t talk to me that … I’m the president of the United States, don’t ever talk to the president that way”.

He then went on to another reporter blanking the first one without answering the question, eventually admitting he would leave the White House by 20 January once the electoral college confirms Mr Biden’s win. Concluding the press conference, Trump again claimed the election was “rigged”, before thanking the assembled media and standing up to leave the room. On his way out one reporter asked, “Isn’t this the language of a dictator?” while another said: “Mr President, some people say you’re denying reality”. Trump failed to respond to either.

Yesterday saw America give thanks for the natives not slaughtering those pilgrims that invaded their land many moons ago and while Trump did the customary speeches to the armed forces and signed useless piece of paper trying to prove he was still in charge, President-Elect Biden and Mrs Biden video conferenced with front line staff working over the holiday period to keep the country safe. Again the future president and first lady showed how much more suitable they are to the task of leadership than the Trumps have in the four years in the big house. To me the Biden’s are the real deal whereas the Trumps are just window dressing, like a self-made person of the 1800’s trying to fit in with the nobles of that time.

Come on America you know he is done for, why prolong the time, just remove him now before he sees the writing on the wall clearly, resigns, installs pence as president 46 and gets pardoned like he has been doing for the rest of his cronies that have been sentenced over the past four years for treason, fraud, etc. While millions suffer and hundreds of thousands die, Trump has done nothing to help those individuals affected by, caught or died from the COVID-19 virus. All this man has done is line his and his lackey’s pockets with more and more ill-gotten gains pilfered from the American tax payer. It is time for a new style of government with in the US which does away with nepotism, lobbying and curbs the executive branch from implementing dictatorship style laws and orders which are unconstitutional as well as illegal along with this pardon on a swipe of a pen morality abused by Trump for his own gains. America is no longer the shining symbol of democracy it portrays, it is very questionable that it ever was with its underhanded, under the counter and covert style of politics practised in the halls of power not only in Washington DC, but throughout the 50 states of the nation.

On that I will skip to dear old Blighty to see what shitstorm Johnson and the Tories have inflicted on us or are ready to inflict on us. Okay so Johnson outlined the plans going forward when England is removed from lockdown next week and guess what it ain’t freedom for all, just more of the same with miniscule changes as some areas drop to tier 2 while most will be in tier 3, all because the lockdown did F*** all to rectify the growing number of cases been registered. The only difference to lockdown rules is that non-essential businesses who couldn’t remote work will be reopened as well as shops, gyms and hospitality venues, but not galleries, museums or theatres which is rather bizarre as most of those venues could successfully accommodate patrons with less interaction than gyms and pubs. This current group of MP’s in control of our lives are mismanaging how they run the country and have no ideas of how to pull us out of this deepening sinkhole we are quickly descending in to without any way of clambering free from the force dragging us down.

So as we have found out most of England will be in the two toughest levels of measures when the national lockdown ends next week meaning the new coronavirus tier restrictions will see 55 million people remaining secluded and banned from mixing with other households indoors from December 2nd. This includes large parts of the Midlands, North East and North West, including Manchester, as well as Kent finding themselves allocated in tier three, while a majority of places are in the second highest level of tier two, including London, and Liverpool’s city region. Only the Isle of Wight, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly where there have been no recorded cases in the past week will be in the lowest level of curbs, tier one. So basically the most southern point of England and its two islands are the only three places escaping marshal law, how very clever of the government to come up with that idea!

Everyone north of the Watford Gap gets slapped with a maximum penalty while the posh counties and inner London escape which proves London is biased for, as Johnson and his cabinet all work in inner London and the three lower tier areas are mostly rural. That was never a hard decision for them was it? To keep the economy running they backed mainly the money people, giving them the exceptions allowing London to work on while the rest of the country suffers. The Tories have always twisted information and data to accommodate themselves and their backers enabling underhanded negotiations that benefit them both. This decision itself has brought descent within Johnson’s own party as Conservative MPs have asked the government to justify putting 55 million people in England into the two highest tiers of COVID restrictions when lockdown ends next Wednesday. A group of Tory rebels have called the plan, which goes to a vote on Tuesday, an act of “authoritarianism at work”, while Labour is still yet to decide whether it will side with them which means if it does, this could threaten the government's majority. Trying to slow the tidal wave heading at Johnson and the cabinet, Health Secretary Matt Hancock stated the government’s priority was “to protect the NHS”. This is just complete ‘BS’ on the governments behalf because if they were interested in protecting the NHS, they would be doing more to help those frontline staff with the necessary support rather than the non-existent wages or guidance required to manage through such a trying time, instead of the debacle over employing unqualified companies who they have paid millions of pounds to, to source adequate secure PPE and not the substandard crap been supplied.

In other developments out of Downing Street, Johnson has appointed an ex-Treasury official as his new chief of staff. Dan Rosenfield's appointment follows a period of upheaval which saw the prime minister's senior aides Dominic Cummings and Lee Cain resign. Opening the path for Rosenfield who is a former civil servant, working in the past for Labour chancellor Alistair Darling and his Tory successor George Osborne. Rosenfield may have worked in civil service before, but again Johnson is pulling from the private sector to fill high powered positions within government even if this appointment wasn’t quite what was expected and has caused a ripple effect as Cleo Watson, one of the PM's deputy chiefs of staff, who was close to Cummings, is also leaving No 10. Cummings may have stormed out of Downing Street earlier this month, but he has left a few hidden time bombs behind, more explosive than any pandemic recession or no-deal Brexit. Those pestilences will pass. If enacted, the Cummings-inspired white paper planning for the future will scar England’s face for ever. The paper promises to shift the appearance of England and intends to throw open landscapes, especially across the south-east of England, to uncontrolled “build, build, build” rhetoric. It will tip wealth yet further towards London and end any levelling-up of the north as it will abolish the ages-old distinction in British planning between built-up areas and the 70-80% of land that is still rural leaving poorer city centres to decline, resulting in small rural villages doubling or trebling in size, and building dribbling from one town into the next killing off the green, green grass fields and open spaces of dear old Blighty which will simply disappear. So the vulture has swept, caught and carried off the flowing pastures we as a small delectable island are renowned for. Johnson’s has a lot to answer for in both his own actions and that of the moronic parasite’s he has allowed to wander the halls of Downing Street for this past year doing their damage from within.

We as people choose the individual who we believe will represent our best interests, only to find the serpent coiled up beneath the mongoose’s skin enticing us on with its hiss, hypnotising us with ‘Flim Flam’ and double speak to get themselves elected where they slowly emerge to strike us down with their poisonous bite. In America they are just starting to wake from their four year hypnosis while we here in Britain are waking up much quicker, but have no action available to us to secure the removal of our venomous serpent for three more years. Trump and Johnson are cut with the same narcissistic monotone rhetoric all men of their stereotyping clamber from, privileged rich backgrounds where they never had to work an honest day in their lives, handed the keys to the wealthy bank accounts where their lifestyles were that of white privileged playboys never worrying where the next penny came from. I am not bitter and twisted over what they have, what I am bitter and twisted over is how they flaunt it without a care in the world for the souls they stamp on as they crave for more money, more power, more women and more corruption. As a world we let too many over privileged morons in to seats of power where we allow them to ride rough shot over minions who work for a living at hard labour and long hours for a pittance while the like’s of Trump and Johnson make more and more even when it is against the very people they have sworn to serve. Come on world open your eyes to the bigoted profiteering at least seventy five percent of politicians and big business leaders do during a day’s business. Even Trump’s so-called peace treaty in the Middle East was hatched to get him a Nobel Prize which rather distinctly backfired. On that note I will call it a day,

Rant you tomorrow!

Back Monday, have a good weekend and Happy belated ‘Thanksgiving’ to anyone that is celebrating.

Wednesday 25 November 2020

25/11/2020

Rolling through the last full week of November and the future ain’t looking too bright, even with Trump now supposedly allowing transition to commence or Johnson’s Christmas bubble or the fact there is are three possible drugs due next month. We are still a world in a heap of shit through government mismanagement. Let’s take a look at the latest ‘BS’ been spouted, shall we?

So America the biggest baddest news headline you could find on Trump was of him pardoning a bloody turkey, instead of leading with how he has destroyed your country for the millionth time in four years as president, not to mention the five decades of tax evasion and sexual abuse left in his wake, for F*** sake a bloody turkey! Does anyone care about the turkey anymore? All this while Biden is out there trying to stabilise a sinking tugboat of a place left to decay at the water’s edge by the current sycophant who would be king. Trump has actually waved his regal hand and told the GSA to do what they need to do for the transition, but still flatly refuses to concede, oh the baby has took his ‘Nuclear football’ home and doesn’t want to play with the big boys and girls anymore, ‘BOOHOO’.

Anyway getting a little more serious this means the Biden administration can begin to take shape and key personnel sought out to staff the different civilian departments of government under a Biden/Harris presidency. US President-elect Joe Biden did very graciously that the White House had so far been “sincere” in helping with his transition to power, also stating that “It has not been begrudging so far, and I don't expect it to be”. He spoke as he unveiled his choice of top officials for when he takes over from Trump in January even with its three week delay due to clarification and certification.

With America looking like the powder keg has been shuttered again for another four years, the issues at hand should not be the transparent ones, but those issues still babbling beneath the stoppered keg waiting for it to pop a little, letting the powder seep out speck by speck till the underground movement have their next reason to pounce, whether it be election, inauguration, state of the union or simply a loosely guarded appearance or interview where some mayhem or assassination can start the revolutionary ball rolling on its path again. America don’t think these miscreants of gun culture are going to go quietly, they are a terrorist cell waiting to blow up in your smug contented faces and don’t think for one iota the Trump’s will go quiet either. The Trump family needs dealing with, the same way any corrupt influential mobster family is dealt with and taken down a peg or four legally stripping them of everything they have corruptly built before and during this outlandish presidency. He may become an ex-president, but first and fore mostly Donald J. Trump is a criminal and a mass murderer.

On that statement I will jump to dear old Blighty to check out our own mass murderer in charge. So the British government has set out its ‘Christmas Bubble’ Experiment on the nation, but in the same breath urged people to be cautious of the risk of spreading coronavirus when rules are relaxed over Christmas. They have stated, bearing in mind they are dictating to us not advising us that up to three households will be allowed to stay together and form a "Christmas bubble" from 23 to 27 December, as agreed by all four UK nations and that using Johnson’s own words that people use “personal judgement” on whether to visit elderly relatives. With a new ‘Bubble’ authorisation, one scientific adviser to the government has stated the relaxation of rules amounted to “throwing fuel on the COVID fire” stating a five day easing of restrictions was reckless. People will also be allowed to travel between all four nations, and between tiers and levels, which will be lifted to allow people to visit families in other parts of the UK and anyone travelling to or from Northern Ireland may travel on the 22 and 28 December, but otherwise travel to and from bubbles should be done between the 23 and 27. The government has also stated that people will not be able to get together with others from more than two other households, and once a bubble is formed, it must be zipped up and sheathed off from the outside world, not to be changed or be extended further.

I don’t know about you, but to me it sounds like we have a primeminister and cabinet channelling the dead spirits of Adolf Hitler and the Leaders of the Third Reich. Next we will need travel passes and documentation similar to what was used in World War Two just to go to the shops. This is seriously getting out of hand and we are two decades in to the twenty first century not the bloody 1940’s under constant threat of bombing and espionage. The virus has really done a number on Johnson’s mentality if he thinks stipulating this kind of Christmas could be acceptable in a modern age. The guy and his team have severely lost the plot and we must be stupid to put up with it. It has been nearly one full year since Johnson was re-elected in to office and It has been the worst year of governmental cock-ups for many a decade leaving the country full of debt, full of death and full hatred for how we are been treated like second class citizens, no better than the fictional characters of George Orwell’s book ‘1984’ with the governmental corruption and incompetence quickly over shadowed by its whimsical imagination of how a country should be controlled rather than helped.

Yet even with the future outlook of turkey with the family there is going to be pitfalls to navigate like the new improved tiering system set to land squarely upon us come December 2nd which in England will revert back to a three level board with stricter rulings than before, you know its ‘lockdown without the lockdown’ meaning places can reopen, but with even tighter guidelines as the ‘lockdown’ didn’t actually work. All four nations will try and coordinate a Christmas break of five days, but other than that all nations will adhere to their own parliament, meaning check out your local area for local restrictions, while the national restrictions can be found on government websites. This in and out of lockdown has got me in a spin and you know what, I have no reason to leave the house in the first place, so how everyone else is coping is simply beyond me.

On the news and social media we see images of suffering, but until you personally feel it there is no comparison. The heartache and the upset just vibrates through your complete being giving you feelings you never once thought you could understand, then there it is like a smack in the face, the reality of death, unemployment, grief, depression and many other experiences the human mind, body and soul can culminate in a mass of neurons, nerves, muscles and organs that makes you feel the emptiness of loss and for some it is a place they never come back from while other can shrug it off like window wipers wiping away raindrops from a windscreen over and over again. That is the make-up of humanity and while the rest of us suffer it’s the politicians who wipe away the raindrops and just blindly move on as if each death is a raindrop to wipe away and be forgotten about while it’s those close to that one person or ‘political nothingness’ who feel the vibrations of the loss through every single part of their mind, body and soul needing to come to terms with what has happened. If one politician really felt the closeness of a loved one torn away by COVID-19, then we would see some action, but until then each person is just another number on the death pile brought to us by the Director ‘Year 2020’, the Executive Producer ‘COVID-19’ with its Co-Producers Trump, Johnson and all the other inept political leaders of this global community we call planet Earth. On that little rant I will call it a day,

Rant you tomorrow!

Back Friday.

Monday 23 November 2020

23/11/2020

So we enter the last full week of November with very little on the horizon changing for the betterment of humankinds future, except promises of a saviour’s vaccine and the governments blessing to celebrate Christmas, ‘Whoopee F****** Doo’. Aren’t we a privileged class now! On that let’s see what has actually been done or swept under the carpet, shall we?

So America, around seventy million, of you thought Trump was the right choice for president again and what do you see the defeated moron doing on this penultimate weekend in November? Well people, Trump was once again playing golf and this time it was while world powers thought it was prudent to discuss the pandemic at a G20 summit. Trump wandered around his Virginia golf course while leaders from France, Germany, and Italy delivered video messages for the session on the global response to the virus. Is this really what a president should be doing, even if he will be out of a job in January. Yes it may be stated that he attended the morning session of the summit, but in his second-to-last appearance at the international meeting as US president, he decided to forego the afternoon side-panel which was to discuss the COVID-19 pandemic and swing a club at something he has a bigger brain than. He just decided to show little interest in the fact he would be looked upon as a mass murderer for not implementing precautions against the pandemic sooner or if ever, instead insisting it was a hoax. Well you can really see how he is going to perform his role over the next sixty days can’t you?

As Trump golfed and G20 representatives talked about death, another death was occurring in Pennsylvania as US district Judge Matthew Brann in Williamsport turned down the Trump campaign request for an injunction therefore spoiling the incumbent's hopes of overturning the results of the presidential contest. Instead the ruling allows Pennsylvania officials to now certify election results that currently show Democrat Joe Biden winning the state by more than 80,000 votes. Judge Brann stated the Trump campaign presented “strained legal arguments without merit and speculative accusations which is unsupported by evidence”, also adding that “In the United States of America, this cannot justify the disenfranchisement of a single voter, let alone all the voters of its sixth most populated state. Our people, laws, and institutions demand more”. So basically this election is heading in to the Supreme Court where Trump and Republicans have stacked the law against public opinion and hope the bought Judges do their part to steal the election for Trump, if this happens I believe there should be an international investigation in to the illegality of the American election system because this to me feels like the money people are buying their authority while stealing the civil and human rights away from all Americans turning the once deeply democratic country in to a bought dictatorship. I suppose there is the other side of the coin that America was never the democracy it portrayed itself of old. Since 24 hour, 365 day news was introduced, I suppose the illegality of the American system has slowly been crumbling as the world sees beneath the ‘Eagles’ wings at just how corrupt American society really is from the pinnacles of power down to the common pickpocket. With immediate news comes immediate evidence of corruption, meaning the way America is seen from outside or sees itself in the mirror is been shattered.

How can a country call itself democratic? When they withhold medicine from the sick and the dying, when they have a justice system that punishes the smallest misdemeanour worse than the biggest financial corruption, when they prevent minorities voting in large numbers, when they supress the illegality of its own president and allows impunity to its authorities, when they allow the same person to spend thirty plus years doing a role that sees them better their own finances rather than their constituents, when they allow home grown terrorists the right to bare arms and systematically wage war on the very democracy they claim to protect and last, but not least, when they allow their country to die in vast numbers rather than look to create a stability from unnecessary death allowing the moronic dictator to pick and choose where and when aid is released as a political strategy against the people who will not cower down to his madness. America you have never really been a true democracy and never will be as long as you allow the like of Trump, Pence, McConnell, Graham, Cruz, Loeffler and Perdue, to mention just a handful rule and run your state and country the way they have been. America you have chosen to publicly back Biden and Harris with your votes, now it is time to take back your country from the rest of the politicians who keep the masses downtrodden while they rob the country blind.

On that rant I will skip back to dear old Blighty and check in on the situation outside my own self-imposed isolation bubble of ‘ONE’. So as the UK meanders on split between lockdown, partial lockdown and restrictions what is the rest of 2020’s year of hell going to look like? Well there is still no news on England’s lockdown extending past December 2nd, so I suppose no news is good news or is it? You can never tell with this Tory government who U-turn quicker than they change their underwear. There is supposed to be an announcement coming about Christmas which is rumoured to be a five day festive reprieve where small family bubbles can mingle, but what does that mean for the rest of December and in to the New Year, those are the questions still been contemplated by businesses and public alike.

As the news is released that the vaccine being developed by the University of Oxford is ninety percent effective against the pandemic strain of flu, the government is starting to smile a little, but that doesn’t mean an immediate U-turn back to the way lives were this time back in 2019, what it means is a long slow push to get the drug to the right people at the right time, not mass inoculations which would put a strain on the NHS, more than they are coping with right now with isolation wards while still trying to provide their normal level of care to the general public. The government just loves to pat themselves on the back for something that they had no direct involvement in the achievement of. Instead of calming troubled waters, all they inevitably do is cause a tsunami style surge towards a very rocky shore where more will die before the deaths decrease. With the future of the vaccine still unknown prudence would have been the better part of valour rather than complicate news briefings giving people false hope of a return to a so-called normal life of the past. There is no normal life for the nearly sixty thousand poor souls lost to this pandemic or the millions of families, relativities, partners, friends and colleagues who have lost loved ones to this virus without been able grieve properly.

It may be a wrong comment to make, but I lost my father to symptoms of his prolonged dementia back in June 2019. That was a very hard time for me personally, but you know what I was at his side when he passed and I am glad he went when he did. Watching dementia take him was hard enough, but if it had been combined with this awful coronavirus that would have been even harder for me. Because I do know been stopped from been with him at the end would have affected me mentally, so my heart goes out to all those individuals and families that never got to say their proper goodbyes because COVID-19 and isolation took their loved ones away from them. I say I am not a religious person, yet I keep finding myself saying such things as ‘My prayers are with you’ an awful lot these days, so maybe there is a little speck of a belief hidden away in me, that truly hopes there is more to us than we are born, grow, live and die.

My rant again turned philosophical or even a little theological at the end today, but what I do know is that once again my heart is breaking with memories of what I have lost and may never get back again. So I may not know how you are feeling exactly, I too went through a long agonising vigil over a loved one. On that teary note I will call it a day,

Rant you tomorrow!

Friday 20 November 2020

20/11/20

Welcome to the last day of the week where partying begins, or not as restrictions and lockdowns rule our daily days and nights. Let’s see what has happened since we last checked in.

Well America as it was projected, predicted and proved Biden won Georgia, but Trump will still not concede. The big orange baby has a pet lip on and is having tantrum after tantrum while the world sniggers, not behind his back, but to his face. The anointed one has fallen, yet seventy million morons just can’t see it. Trump has lost the election, now he is losing the lawsuits his team has brought and it is surmised that his next step is to try and influence the Electoral College to intervene on his behalf. America is a democracy been controlled by undemocratic politicians who put self before country and use underhanded techniques to try and defraud the populous of the nation.

Such a point was proven by the undemocratic rhetoric Trumps personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani preached during a press conference in which he was labelled a “hot mess” following a wild “path to victory” Speech he gave yesterday in which he outlined a national conspiracy to defraud Donald Trump of the presidency, all while his hair dye dripped down the former New York mayor’s face, setting the internet alight with ridicule. Giuliani is a disgrace to not just America, but to the profession he is supposed to honour. I’ve heard about corrupt lawyers working for crime families, but I never thought it would happen within the institution known as the Office of the President. This man should be investigated by the FBI and have his law certification revoked if not for the fact he is corrupt, but for the fact it appears dementia is affecting him as well as Trump.

While Trump sits sulking in the oval office, Biden is taking virtual meetings with governors, including Democrats and Republicans, about the coronavirus crisis to hash out a battle plan to stop the nationwide spread of the virus which has now taken quarter of a million American lives. Biden even without the backing of the GSA has started the transition by reaching out to the necessary people who are on the ground in each state to discuss how best to implement the fight against COVID-19, so less lives are lost in the long run until the vaccine distribution is started. This is what a president looks like and how one acts. The man at the top works on behalf of all the people, not just the top one percenters like the Trump administration has done for four years. Trump has took a growing economy and tanked it. Trump has divided a once glorious nation with racist, xenophobic and sexist rhetoric. Trump has allowed the fascist elements of the country to take root in every day society. Trump has superimposed Christian religious rhetoric upon a country which is made up of a diverse multi-cultural and multi-denominational society. Trump has allowed the pro-life religious nuts to take root in politics and try to dictate how a woman should act. But worst of all Trump has allowed corruption and profiteering to go unchallenged by putting a corrupt Attorney General in charge of the countries judicial investigating body while packing the Supreme Court with bought justices who have been found unworthy of the position they hold. This is what history will write about the American presidency of 2017 to 2021. History will show how fascism, brutality, corruption, xenophobia, misogyny and lying became the presidential blasphemy for one of the highest offices held throughout the world.

On that note I will hop back to dear old Blighty to see what our own fascist leader has been up to and how Britain is fairing under restrictive, repressive rules which appear as one rule for one and one rule for the others, meaning commoners should abide by the rules while politicians and the wealthy ignore the rules. Talking of a rules it appears that Johnson cabinet is still above the rule of parliamentary etiquette as he pardons his Secretary of State for the Home Department. A report just released found Ms Patel guilty of behaviour that amounted to what can be best described as bullying and Johnson is yet to make it clear whether she [Priti Patel] will be losing her position on the cabinet. So that is number five on the list of cabinet MP’s and aides who should have lost their jobs whom Johnson has sided with and backed. This is surmounting to be a very ethical dilemma which should be purged out right away. But instead of Patel’s resignation or removal from office the very person who investigated the accusations of bullying and promptly agreed Patel had done wrong is the one who resigns. The government's standards adviser on the ministerial code Sir Alex Allan has resigned after the PM backed Home Secretary Priti Patel over a bullying inquiry. What is clear from yet another debacle of political corruptness with in this present Tory government is that no matter what a person does wrong, Boris Johnson is the problem because it fails to take the appropriate action and should be removed from office himself.

So the question to be asked I think is this a political decision or a racial decision? Who is Priti Patel? Well her profile states Ms Patel was born in London to Gujarati parents who left Uganda in the 1960s and was educated at Watford Grammar School for Girls before studying at Keele and Essex universities. She had previously worked at the Conservative Central Office, but left to run the press office of the Eurosceptic Referendum Party from 1995 to 1997. Ms Patel then had a career in public relations before becoming an MP at the 2010 election and became a leading figure in the Vote Leave campaign during the 2016 EU referendum. When the leave campaign won and then primeminister David Campbell resigned she was appointed international development secretary by Theresa May which she resigned from in 2017 after it emerged she had conducted unauthorised meetings with Israeli officials, proving she is an unsuitable person for any cabinet position. Ms Patel even though a child of immigrants has took a tough stance on immigration making her a popular figure with grassroots Conservatives. She has also proved controversial by voting against gay marriage and advocating to bring back the death penalty in the past even though it is said she has changed her mind on that and does not support it now. So what you have is female member of the cabinet who has shown corruption, bullying, xenophobia, homophobia and a supporter of capital punishment, is this really the type of person you want to have a say on how our country is run. To me she is a female version of Donald Trump and someone who will turn on her own people to better herself politically and financially. Priti Patel is everything that is wrong with our society today and a perfect person to be one of Johnson’s sidekicks as she has no morality that can be witnessed.

So while the politicians bicker and fight, the rest of us just meanders on under this pandemic plight. The deaths do add up, without any sight of letting up. The vaccine is said to prevent, but let’s just live in the present. We know this is not going away soon, as each setting of the diminishing moon. Brings more death and grief, with no chance of relief. Restriction and lockdown, silence across each and every town. 2020 is a year of hell, with no chance of it ending well. As Christmas rises upon the horizon, there will be a lot of familial compromising. The present we all wish for, is for this life to be a chore no more. So come on you political leaders, stop being such bloodsucking bleeders. Pull your fingers out of your ass, create a lifesaving legislation all with pass. Build an alliance of professionals, become multi-progressional. Start to combine international collaboration, to stop this global damnation. Because separated we will die, separated our nations will cry. Together we can strive, Together we can thrive. This planet is our home, it doesn’t matter where we roam. Action is needed to correct the here and now, so stand side by side and vow. As one humanity of diverse individuals, we should take a knee and pray for miracles. For only we can make the transformation, and let the future be filled with global cooperation. Country before self, Charity aroused in oneself. Bring back a normal life, cast aside the common strife. One for all, all for one let that be the rousing call. On that I will call it a day and end another week,

Rant you tomorrow!

Back Monday.

19/11/2020

Welcome to week three of lockdown England! While everyone else is wandering about and MP’s are under self-isolation, what the hell is actually happening out there to help prevent the spread of this virus? Nothing that I can see from my four magnolia painted walls of my enforced cell where I stare about all alone daily. So let’s see what the headlines have to say.

As Trump sits in the people’s oval office sulking over his election defeat and refusing to accept the peoples vote by ordering all departments not to share information with the Biden team, the American people are the one’s suffering with the death toll from COVID-19 surpassing the quarter of a million mark. Trump’s administration has declined to speak about their plans on how to fight the pandemic or even distribute the vaccine they keep saying will be available within days and the lack of a formal transition is just making this issue even worse. As an outsider all I see is a man hell bent on destroying a democracy he doesn’t believe in, as he once again reneges on his duties as president with a schedule that insiders say is empty of substance with no plans as it has been for the last 12 days since the elections projected result was aired worldwide.

Instead of a smooth transition of government, the American people are getting a subverted melodrama which would be more at home on the local network as a TV show, but in fact it is reality coming home to roost as it was predicted over a year ago before the electoral race even started. Since the election result certain parties have suddenly disappeared from sight. Where is the Trump siblings hiding? Now big daddy Trump is on his way out the door? Are they running scared waiting for the long arm of the law to feel their collars for all the corrupt money laundering acts they have performed? Trump’s eldest sons are still trying to spread the conspiracy lies of fraud while Trump’s eldest daughter and her husband who are part of the Whitehouse staff are playing a waiting game. What is most important to Trump and his family is legacy not accomplishment. Trump’s ego is at the heart of every decision he makes, this is something a president should leave at the Whitehouse front door because whomever sits in that oval office is a global representative of the American people and should show a diplomatic façade which is something Trump is incapable of doing. He is a ‘take no enemies’ type of person which is okay in big business, but as a political leader who should be walking a fine line of diplomacy it just doesn’t work and that has been proven over the last four years as Trump as alienated every democratic nation of the world while befriending the dictatorships of Russia and North Korea.

Trump’s ideology is what has divided America, his support of far right groups if not publically is a driving force of the unrest in the country. This can be seen by the way militia groups like the proud boys, Boogaloo Bois and the KKK have resurfaced from decades of hiding under a rock to once again walk the streets of America fully armed as is been seen in Michigan where a lockdown has been implemented as COVID-related deaths are up by 150% on what they were just two weeks ago. The new rules state that there should be no in-person teaching at schools or colleges, no inside dining and no theatres, cinemas or gyms can open. The police are eerily silent on the streets of Michigan while armed white folks saunter around claiming freedom and liberty. When BLM supporters take to the streets unarmed the police attack them with paint pellets, gas and pepper spray, but when armed members of the Boogaloo Bois, a self-styled, anti-government militia show up to protest the lockdown the police stay away, this is some real F***** up shit America. These people who openly disregard lawmakers are been allowed on the streets of Michigan with assault rifles loaded, cocked and ready to be used, is this a peaceful statement or an act of disobedience? In my eyes as a person living in a country which has no overt gun culture it dumbfounds me that America hasn’t destroyed itself sooner. The representatives of the Boogaloo militia movement seen at the state capital are the most extreme Trump supporters and should clearly be put on an ATF watch list if they aren’t already on one. As America continues to implode from death and political mayhem the rest of us still watch on wondering whether the big orange man in the oval office will do something unimaginable which starts a civil war, not of words as it is right now, but a full on bullet flying/bomb exploding civil war last seen in 1865 as the ‘Unionists’ went to war with the ‘Confederates’ which was a war of brother versus brother. This time around it will be anarchist versus anarchist!

On that worrying note I will skip back to dear old Blighty and survey the shitstorm currently brewing on home soil. So as the number of deaths in the nation keep climbing and positive COVID-19 cases soar all eyes and ears are on what the government is going to do about it. As Scotland and Wales saunter on with restrictions, Northern Ireland sits out a four week partial lockdown and England enters week three of a four week full lockdown we wait with bated breath to hear what the next step in this 2020 fiasco is going to be as we start the countdown to Christmas and look towards the new year of 2021. As I have said before Christmas and New Year isn’t as important to me as it is for some. I am a single bloke who doesn’t socialise or drink, so the festive season is just the same as the rest of the year to me [Yes I’m an introverted isolationist]. So the question should be, how will Christmas differ for the rest of the country?

Well, the government hasn’t laid down the rules yet but it will definitely be nothing like we have seen before in our lifetime. There will be such changes as smaller family gatherings as the ‘Rule of Six’ will most likely still be implemented, less food to buy as households stay in their small isolated bubbles, no extravagant work parties or big festive parties as locations could be shut, high street shops will feel the pinch as online purchasing hits an all-time high, no ornate pantomimes as theatres remain closed and a very quiet New Year’s eve as crowds and parties will be stopped from gathering to count in the new year. All in all the outlook on the horizon is forecast to be a very bleak mid-winter of sombre reflection especially for those who have loved one’s battling the virus or have lost loved ones to this pandemic. What should happen is instead of the nation celebrating the New Year, we should hold a remembrance for the 60+ thousand people who have died of COVID-19, and we as a nation have lost due to this pandemic.

When 2021 is finally here, what will the memories of 2020 be? Will it be the hell on earth we faced together while been separated? Will it be the new found community spirit? Will it be the rise of the freedom movements? Will it be the fall of the fascists? Or will it simply be a sigh of relief that as an individual we survived 2020? Only you can answer that question. For me it will be how one country overcame the warlord it had elected four years earlier, as well as how that same country stayed blinkered to the corruption within its halls of power re-electing two of the most corrupt senators back in to power. America is on a new knife edge of change and we the world hope it is for the better rather than seeing it descend in to civil war. On the opposite side of the ocean back in dear old Blighty I will remember the ineptitude the elected government showed in the fight against a deadly pandemic with inexcusable policies and laws which within weeks of implementing them they either walked back their decisions or made a full U-turn creating a stupidity factor on how they ran the country in a time of emergency. I know I only consider two nations, but that is because I live in one and the news headlines have been dominated by the other. Also I openly detest both countries leaders who should have never been given the chance to call themselves leaders due to the overwhelming dishonesty within their past endeavours and their glory hunting need for celebrity status. Both men are blights on the histories of their respective countries and should be torn from past, present and future historical records. On that rather angry note I will call it a day,

Rant you tomorrow!

18/11/2020

Well its midweek again and the end of week two of lockdown in England as the rest of the country stumbles on with restrictions and America hasn’t even considered it. Let’s take a look at the latest going on.

In America as I said there is no sign of any type of restrictions or lockdown to combat the spread of the coronavirus there, which isn’t surprising since the administration has been more concerned with getting another bought judge on to the Supreme Court, trying to win the election and now doing everything it can to defraud the public with its lawsuits claiming electoral mismanagement. So while the country suffers death after death Trump and the senate Republicans do nothing. The US had just over nine million Covid-19 cases when November began, now, just weeks later, the country is topping 11 million. And one west Texas County has emerged as the latest American epicentre. Right on the border with Mexico, El Paso in Texas is known for its desert landscape, military complexes and plentiful sunshine, but now, it's making a name as one of the worst hit regions in the nation. Covid-19 patient’s account for more than half of all hospital admissions in the county of El Paso, and the case count continues to trend upwards. There are five symptoms of the unfolding crisis which politicians and Trump are ignoring and they are overflowing hospitals, ten mobile morgues, Prison inmates been used to move victims’ bodies, Six months and six family members as one women bares the tragedy of loss and no lockdown in sight which means El Paso will remain a hot zone until the corrupt regime of incompetent politicians and law makers change their blinkered vision.

This is what is happening state by state yet Trump shows no concern for the devastation and instead bulldozers his way on through, refusing to accept that over seventy nine million Americans have voiced their opinion on his position. Trump is most definitely losing it as he continues to claim ballot fraud in states he did not win and on the back of a report that contradicted his claims of ballot machine tampering he has gone and fired his Chief of Cybersecurity who predicted his removal prior to it happening. This leaves yet another hole in the security of the nation because the Deputy Chief of Cybersecurity has also resigned when told he would not be filling the post as Chris Krebs replacement. The demise of a nation has well and truly started following Trump’s defeat, with Defence Secretary Mark Esper already shown the door amid reports Trump doubted the Pentagon chief's loyalty and there is also speculation in Washington DC that before Trump leaves office in January, CIA director Gina Haspel and FBI director Christopher Wray could also be for the chopping block. This is a madman on a revenge plot to destroy anyone who disobeys or disagrees with him, January is far too long to wait to remove this unhinged tyrant from a position that can cripple a nation from the top down which his actions lately have proven. His refusal to concede to Biden, the GSA doing his bidding instead of starting transition procedures, the firing of two major department directors, his wanton need to bomb Iran and his vulgarity on twitter inciting his supporters to be ready for war. The transition is usually well in flow by now, but Trump will not allow it which is a slur on the constitution and a power play to destroy democracy.

Another problem coming to light for American democracy is the blatant sabotage the sitting Republicans are causing and it is no longer covertly been done, it is completely overtly as Lindsey Graham tries to influence the outcome of the recount in Georgia by pressuring the Secretary of State to lose mail in votes and Michigan Republicans refusing to certify Biden’s win in one county in Michigan. Wayne county certifiers refused to sign off on election result but changed course after outcry from Democrat counterparts and the public gallery. This is the underhanded tactics both Trump’s administration and the GOP will use to succeed and defraud the American public of their civil rights. As an outsider living in another country all I see is what is broadcast, but what I do see is an America that is still controlled by bigots and racists wanting to stay in control. America will never recover while such people are in control of the country especially during this time of uncertainty and moral adversity.

On that realisation I will take a look at dear old Blighty and see what is happening on the ground. As Johnson and six MP’s self-isolate, now the Head of NHS Test and Trace Dido Harding is also self-isolating. If the system is so good why are the people behind the system all going down with coronavirus? If the people designated to help the nation cannot protect themselves how can they ever expect to protect the nation from this deadly pandemic. Then you have the uncertainty of how Christmas will be for millions of people especially those who live alone or are safeguarding due to previously diagnosed illnesses that would be hazardous if they caught COVID-19. While millions suffer due to these individuals ineptitude, they sit pretty in there expensive houses sipping whatever tipple they prefer. This is a huge disaster to the country as the people in charge destroy the British nation from the top down which is a travesty for our own democracy.

Along with the governing body been forced to isolate, there is still no sign that the enforced lockdown is doing us any good as the count keeps rising and the deaths are failing to plateau or decrease as a further 20,051 coronavirus cases have also been announced, taking the total number of infections in the UK to 1,410,732. Along with the UK has also recorded another 598 coronavirus deaths in the latest 24-hour period which is, so far the highest daily number of fatalities since May 6th, government figures show. This means that during the pandemic a total of 52,745 people in the country have died within 28 days of testing positive for COVID-19, but separate figures from the UK's statistics agencies for fatalities where COVID-19 was mentioned on the death certificate dispute the government figures showing there have been 68,000 deaths involving the virus. How can people trust those in charge? When so many keep on getting sick or dying during this year of hell and it isn’t over yet.

We are facing a time of unprecedented uncertainty in everything we are doing and it isn’t just in the UK it is worldwide and until there is a global coalition to fight the present and protect the future the planet is in a dire situation. I can survive because I am alone and have no one to worry about, but for those out there with family, colleagues and very close friends it must be a nightmare not knowing whether you or they are spreading this awful virus amongst each other. They say we are 95% towards finding a viable vaccine which is also according to an efficacy analysis is 94% effective at protecting over-65s from the virus. The big question is when will it be rolled out as they are only just at the stage where they will to submit the COVID-19 vaccine to the US regulator for emergency use approval. The UK regulator, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), is also poised to fast-track authorisation of the vaccine after the government ordered enough for 20 million people. Meanwhile the UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock has said that, pending authorisation, the NHS will be ready to roll them out to the most vulnerable from December 1st this year, but we will see if that is another thing this incompetent government takes a U-turn on. Since March the pandemic has controlled the government instead of them having strategic plans in place for such an event.

All in all I can’t wait to see the back of 2020, just so we can see some stability in the world with firstly the removal of Trump from the Whitehouse and then for our own government to hopefully be removed from power, been replaced by someone who recognises the people as people and not just as a number like Johnson has. Also so we can get some stability with the Brexit fiasco that has trundled on way too long. On that note I will call it a day,

Rant you tomorrow!

17/11/2020

It’s a cold chilly day here in dear old Blighty, but it must be hot in the hell the politicians currently dwell within because they sure deserve to be in hell for their incompetence and dishonesty. Anyway let’s take a look at what they have been up to shall we?

The madman is still in charge within the US and is doing everything he can to destroy democracy. As Trump’s campaign keep pushing unproven conspiracies of ballot fraud in the battleground states he lost and stalls in the mandated transition policies, it’s the American people who are suffering as COVID-19 sweeps through the country killing thousands every day the Trump administration and the senate Republicans do nothing, but sit on their asses and watch mayhem and death descend across their country. In the midst of all this political ‘BS’, president-elect Biden is trying to build a team that will start a fresh come January 21st 2021, but cannot effectively do that while transition funding is held back by the Trump lackey within the government agency that launches the transition process [the General Services Administration (GSA)] who holds the purse strings. Also as the GSA is refusing to recognise the president-elect and the vice president-elect this also leaves them without access to sensitive government briefings that are normally provided to an incoming administration. This is a blatant attack by Trump and his lackeys on the institute of democracy. President-elect Joe Biden has warned that “people may die” if his incoming administration continues to be impeded by incumbent Donald Trump, also stating that co-ordination was needed to tackle the coronavirus outbreak calling Trump's refusal to acknowledge he has lost the election, despite calls to do so from both sides, “totally irresponsible”.

Meanwhile as Trump and his administration hold on to its belief they won the election and do everything they can to illegally win, the Wisconsin Elections Commission on Monday stated that the Trump campaign would have to pay nearly $8m (£6m) for a vote recount in that state [which Mr Biden is projected to have won by 20,000 ballots] should they still want one and in Georgia they are conducting a state-wide, by-hand recount because of the 0.3% margin separating the rivals. Breaking news of more fraudulent underhanded skulduggery on behalf of Trump was released as the official overseeing the recount, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, told CNN on Monday that he had been coming under pressure from a fellow Republican, Trump ally and South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, to disqualify legally posted ballots in certain counties which Graham denied, telling Politico the two had merely had a “very pleasant” conversations about signature verification processes. How did Graham and his counterpart McConnell ever get re-elected? Are the people of South Carolina and Kentucky morons or just bitch slapped in to believing the ‘BS’ propaganda these two corrupt politicians spout? Both these individuals should be put under investigation by the FBI and congress for how they blatantly try to subvert the law and put the office they hold in to disrepute, not to mention act treasonously towards the constitution. What is funny to me is the fact they both hail from states that were run by prominent slave owners and were member states of the Confederate Government of the 1800’s who refused to accept the abolishment of slavery. This alone should tell you the type of men, Graham and McConnell are. I bet if their ancestry was checked they are the descendants of plantation owners and if you ask me they both project the posture of wannabe plantation and slave owners.

In other terrifying reports from the Whitehouse, clearly show how unstable Trump is becoming as he had to be talked out of making plans to bomb Iran’s main nuclear site during an Oval Office meeting with top security officials. It was reported last night that Trump had asked for options on attacking the enrichment facility at Natanz, 190 miles south of Tehran, on Thursday coming just one day after international nuclear inspectors reported a big increase in stockpiled material. Is this really how ‘World War Three’ begins? As Trump unilaterally decides to attack Iran, who next?. For heaven’s sake, can America not see how insane this man is, because the rest of the world sees it? We are just one temper tantrum away from the big red button been deployed, annihilating the planet.

On that insane thought, I will move on to dear old Blighty to see what fresh shitstorm we are facing. Well as Johnson self-isolates in Downing Street that hasn’t stopped him from causing more political upset in the halls of power, his comments on Scotland’s devolution has stirred up old rivalries. Johnson has now come under fire for reportedly telling a virtual meeting of Conservative MPs that devolution had been a “disaster” in Scotland and also reportedly described it as predecessor Tony Blair's “biggest mistake”. Both the SNP and Labour have criticised the prime minister while one of Johnson’s lackeys, Communities Secretary Robert Jenrick said Mr Johnson has “always supported devolution”. Jenrick went on to state that "What he does feel strongly, and I would agree, is that devolution in Scotland has facilitated the rise of separatism and nationalism in the form of the SNP, and they’re trying to break apart the United Kingdom. Anybody, like the prime minister, who loves the UK wants to keep it together and thinks that is a very, very dangerous and disappointing outcome that we need to battle against”.

What I see is two individuals who see devolution as money been stripped from their profiteering margins as one has allowed millions of pounds to be distributed to donors to the Conservative party in Government contracts and the other made redevelopment issues go away for another influential Tory party donor. This present Government is filled full of self-serving individuals who think more of themselves than the good of the UK. Yes full devolution of the United Kingdom member nations would be catastrophic, but the present elected body of MP’s path to Brexit is what is fuelling the calls for devolution, so that Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland at some point could re-join the EU which they overwhelmingly voted to stay within. I as an Englishman living in the North East of England agree with the notion of re-joining the EU and would consider moving north of the border in to Scotland, if devolution was ever decided upon because as said Englishman I am disgusted with the party politics of the Conservative Party and the present Labour party. I believe in Unification of the European community because it brings stability and multilateral law making to a nation where said nation standing alone has no oversight which will become ever clearer as we stop been watched over by the EU central court giving the sitting government whether it be Conservative, Labour or a coalition the unilateral decision to make whatever new law they deem appropriate at that time or subsequently remove any laws they dislike. To me if the Tories could they would criminalise almost anything as they are proven by their policies during this pandemic which shows what we can expect come 2021 when we are finally done and dusted with the EU, “God help us all!”

The longer we witness both Johnson and Trump in action, the more it comes apparent they are cut from the same cloth. They are both narcissistic men who refuse to accept defeat when it is as plain as the nose on their faces. They both are misogynistic womanisers with two failed marriages and multiple children from each marriage [how can such a man be really trusted]. They are both power hungry corrupt individuals who will do anything and say anything to win over their supporters. They are both hot headed impulsive individuals who could snap at any time becoming less stable the longer the power dwells within their consciousness while lying to protect those close to them and sacking those who displease them or contradict them. We are two countries under the constant worry of what our leaders will say or do next to incite supporters to rally to them like acolytes within a cult ready to lay down their lives for them. I have to admit Johnson isn’t as bad as Trump, but the remarkable similarities far out way their differences and they both hold their respective countries hostage while they drink in the power like a well-aged malt whiskey and do nothing to help those they say they serve. On that very disheartening thought I will call it a day,

Rant you tomorrow!

Monday 16 November 2020

16/11/2020

And in to another week we head with even more death, violence and political ‘BS’ been spread on social media. What a history this will make for future generations to view, anyway on with the rant.

Well America saw more violence over the weekend as rival groups clashed in Washington DC during a march set up by Trump supporters who still believe Trump won the election even after Trump tweeted that Biden won. Don’t get too complacent, Trump still claims that Biden’s win is fraudulent and will not concede. All this hold out by Trump is doing, is to create more instability in an already dying nation. As the Trump ‘Million MAGA March’ happened far right supporters entered Washington DC to support their corrupt leader. Yet as night fell on the city the violence started as BLM supporters clashed with Trump supporters prompting Trump not to call for peace on the streets of the capital, but instead to incite more violence by telling DC law enforcement to “do your job” and deal with “Antifa scum” at the march attended by a few thousand, not the predicted million Trump wanted. As the violence increased one man was stabbed and 20 were arrested in running battles between Trump supporters and counter-protesters. In the mix of violence the Proud Boys and Trump supporters brawled with left-wing groups for several minutes before law enforcement arrived. As well as the stabbed man, two police officers were also injured as they tried to subdue the groups as fireworks and bottles were thrown at some Trump fans dining outside a city restaurant. Taking part in the march were far-right groups such as the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers militia group chanting “F*** Biden” in a show of defiance for the President-Elect as they ignored the projected polls and instead chose to believe Trumps unsubstantiated claims of electoral fraud. This is what America has to come as armed Militia groups start to mobilise under the banners of fascism and slavery to bring mayhem to a democratic society in parallels to the uprising of the ‘Third Reich’ in 1930’s Germany. Until Trump is removed from office and the law enforcement agencies are cleansed of fascist officers America will not see peace upon its own shores again. Trump’s presidency has given a voice to fascism once again and don’t expect Trump to go quietly because his ego has been chipped slightly, but not cracked enough to silence him. He will muster his White Supremacist supporters in the shadows and try to take power through a coup if need be. He is like all dictators, a coward surrounded by willing acolytes who will do his bidding just like ‘Lee Harvey Oswald’.

While Trump sits behind fences, armed guards and travels in reinforced motorcades spouting his conspiracy theories which incite the far right to rise against the establishment, the voice of reason is been broadcast by Ex-Presidents and long serving politicians for a peaceful transition of power, but the problem with pleading with a narcissistically insane individual like Trump is words and truths, do not get the message across. There can be interview after interview, but the result will always be the same, Trump believes his own propaganda and his ego will not let him accept defeat or concede.

The worry that a multitude of not only Americans, but the whole world has is how far this unhinged man will go before he does something that cannot be undone. He has already got the backing of numerous underground militias who are ready and willing to storm the castle should he be forcefully removed. America needs to put down the agitators first, then name and shame the law enforcement individuals who backed the fascist movement before publically criminalising the actions of their leader by indicting Trump on charges of treason against the American people. The world sees what is required, yet the seventy plus million morons who voted for Trump are still blinkered. America is becoming a nation of anarchy never seen on their shores in over 250 years. Not even the suffragette movement of the early 1900’s or the civil rights movement of the 1960’s compares to this fascist uprising the world is witnessing in America of today. There has always been far right and far left groups upon the American shores, but groups like the KKK, Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists never had a president to support their ideologies like Trump since the dark days of the confederacy and the deep seated racist bios of the southern states of America who ignored the civil rights gained after the Civil War oppressing African Americans for two centuries.

As a white man born and bred in England I cannot say I have ever experienced anything quite like the American mentality of privilege that social media has pushed to the forefront of news in the last twelve years and I find myself disgusted that as human beings we still have not learnt that every life is precious no matter their skin colour, their religion or their sexuality and we still find hatred in our hearts to try and oppress, destroy and condemn what we don’t understand. Also as a person who witnesses the immediate hand over of power by defeated parties as it is in Britain, I do not understand how a president is given almost 80 days to vacate the Whitehouse, surely it would be more prudent to have them leave office as soon as the count is clarified. The whole electoral system in America appears to be a flawed and an illogical practice, but that is just my opinion. The numbers tell the story and it should not take one person to concede the mantle of power. There is too much pandering to the one person when it should be the politicians who have the say not the figure head.

On that note I will skip the pond to dear old Blighty and see what melodrama has been unfolding here. So as England continues its month long lockdown, Scotland and Wales pursue their own restrictions criteria, it’s the public who are bearing the brunt of the suffering. Yet news filtering out of Downing Street does a little to show even those well protected can face problems as Johnson has been told to self-isolate due to coming in contact with a fellow politician who has tested positive for the virus. Time will tell to whether Johnson is immune to the virus or catches it for a second time in less than a year. Karma would truly be a bitch if that happens wouldn’t it? Anyway there are several vaccines been tested or been lined up to be tested on human guinea pigs at the moment, but in all likelihood nothing will materialise before the New Year. This is going to be a not so very Merry Christmas and 2020 will end as it started in upheaval. 2021 is set to be a year of hope, but that will come at the cost of a downtrodden society on its knees due to a deadly pandemic politicians knew was coming and did nothing to prepare for. Their so-called strategic planning for such an event was woefully insufficient and things got worse as a government of ineptitude with its mind set on one track which was Brexit was trampled by the onslaught of deaths that the pandemic has left in its path worldwide. I sit here locked away, alone from the outside world and watch as families lose loved ones to a disease that is invisible. A disease that experts still have no idea of how to eradicate and just a small inclining of how to protect us against. A disease the politicians assured us would be gone as quick as it arrived. A disease that lays waste to everyone it attacks, yes people may recover, but their lives are altered because of it. The people look to governments for guidance, yet all they see is on one side headless chickens running around uncertain of what is happening and on the other ostriches who are burying their heads in the sand, denying there is anything wrong. Is this what the world has become?

Here in Blighty we see the rats are abandoning the sinking ship of Downing Street as Johnson treads water trying to save his own neck as the focus of power shifts from the likes of Cummings and Cain, instead falling at the feet of Johnson mistress whom the rats deem has the ear of the primeminister rather than his trusted rats. As the government faces crisis mode due to more virus spreads within the halls of power the opposition is voicing its concern over how the country will move forward post lockdown in England and restrictions ease in the other three home nations. All in all this year has been a shit show of epic proportion even worse than the early days of world war two or the handling of the miners strikes of the 1980’s for a conservative government who still have not secured a Brexit deal worthy of the nation as a whole. As we head towards the end of Johnson’s first official full year as primeminister, it has to be said he has lacked the ministerial presence of his predecessors which is quite a problem. Discounting Gordon Brown because he never actually won a general election to become primeminister, the likes of May, Campbell, Blair Major and Thatcher all faced their own types of crisis which they accomplished with a ministerial acumen that Johnson just doesn’t have. This current primeminister is simply a jumped up white privileged schoolboy who cannot seem to make an honest decision without either backtracking or U-turning shortly afterwards and cowers in the corner while everyone berates him for the decision. He is not the person this country needs to lead us out of the darkness and in to the light we desire. A change has to be made before the nation declines because Johnson is retreating from promises to hand down political power to English regions, according to the former Conservative deputy prime minister and champion of devolution Lord Heseltine. Lord Heseltine stated that according to the Conservative manifesto last December Johnson promised “full devolution across England” to enable “every part of our country to shape its own destiny”. Under the manifesto the government presented political devolution as a key element of Johnson’s plan to “level up” the UK and promised an English devolution White Paper by autumn which is nearly over, but that White Paper has now been postponed and frustration has boiled over for many advocates of devolution with what they see as the government’s failure to follow through. Once again top politicians and peers have spoken out at the style of primeminister Johnson is turning in to, which is a power hungry individual who is copying Trump in his ideology. As a country we are at an impasse where one person sees himself above those around him or as he sees it below him in stature and privilege, but until the Conservative party does something about it we will suffer on under this madman without a choice as we the people won’t have a chance at our say for three more years.

The Americans have spoken out in the millions in choosing to replace Trump, even if Trump can’t see it, but until the world rises up against the immorality of our elected officials nothing will change, both here in the United Kingdom or in every nation of the globe. Dictatorships or even badly governed leaders need to be held accountable for their ideologies that we the people face and suffer from, on a daily basis as decisions are made by corrupt politicians who line their own pockets before they even consider helping the people who put them where they are. The likes of Trump and Johnson are just two individual who show daily they are the wrong type of person to be allowed in a position of power because they have an inability to empathise with the people they serve and think of themselves as superior to everyone else. What we need are leaders of a calibre that instils cooperation, equality and a knowledge of what it is like to struggle. Both Trump and Johnson were raised in a privilege household and wanted for nothing when they were growing up. There social status opened doors that remain shut to the lowest of society which brings nepotism and backscratching to the style of leader they are. They will govern in a systematic way where greed begets greed and money talks in a way that corrupts the halls of power. Think about it, what type of leader do you want in charge? Do you want the one who fights for the under privileged or do you want the one who panders to big business? Only time will tell in America as they countdown to the day the country officially accepts Biden as the winner of the 2020 presidential election and Britain says enough is enough and calls for the head of the primeminister to be placed on a pike outside Downing Street. We the people are stronger together than divided, so all I can say is don’t let the radicals split whichever nation you reside in, be strong, be insistent, be on the side of right and let’s take back our planet from the fascists and those who would have it returned back in time to when the wealthy ruled with an iron fist. On that I will call it a day,

Rant you tomorrow!

13/11/2020

Welcome to the end of the week and the superstition of the day. Could this be the day the world reaches breaking point as more countries face increasing death tolls and are run by governments who no longer have any insight on how to move forward? As America splinters over its election result and Britain’s government partially implodes, violence in other nations is on the rise also. In Mexico police fired shots at a women’s protest, in Peru police used water cannons and gas against protesters, in Ethiopia Tigrayan troops are accused of massacre and in Angola police fired tear gas at so-called illegal protests. These are just four nations in a world that is on the verge of self-destruction. Now let’s take a look at America and Britain, shall we?

Well America still teeters on the brink as Trump still refuses to accept the nation’s voice that has evicted him from the Whitehouse in just over sixty days and still refuse to concede the defeat like a man. US election officials have said the 2020 Whitehouse vote was the “most secure in American history”, rejecting Trump's fraud claims. The committee’s statement said that “There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised”. They also spoke out after Trump decided to claim without any proof that 2.7 million votes for him had been “deleted”. The latest count has President-elect Biden projected to have won Arizona, extending his lead by 11 Electoral College votes to a total of 290, with Trump on 217. It is the first time the state has voted Democrat since 1996. It is the same old story day in, day out since November 3rd, the big orange baby keeps spitting his dummy out because the nation has taken his ball away, this is what happens when you give a narcissist the keys to the country and expect him to play fair.

What the world sees is a group of elected officials playing games with each other while a country suffers the indignity of mismanagement and fraudulent conspiracies from a president who knows his time is up, but will do anything to disrupt the incoming presidential team of Biden/Harris. What is worse than the mentality of Trump, is the unethical decisions been made by the Republican Senators and Congress representatives who know the Whitehouse is lost for four years, but still use Trump’s rantings to hide their own fraud against the American public by acknowledging Trump’s delusion as fact.

On top of this you have the likes of Fox News’s celebrity Sean Hannity giving Trump’s blonde bimbo air time three nights in a row, so she could preach her Trumpism cultist views to the nation. McEnany appeared on Hannity waving MORE affidavits and claiming election fraud. The bimbo known as the Whitehouse Press Secretary made fresh allegations of election fraud as she waved three binders of documents in the air alleging there had been separate voting systems in parts of Pennsylvania depending on whether they were red or blue counties and that “potentially tens of thousands of ballots” were counted improperly. She claimed the conspiracies theories were true as the Trump’s campaign celebrated a small win on Thursday when a Pennsylvania judge ruled that a small number of ballots be tossed, but those votes only related to people who missed a deadline to validate their ID and did nothing to change Joe Biden's 60,000-plus lead in the state as the ballots in question had already been disqualified in the official numbers. The document she was waving around contained the filings of multiple legal challenges, making unfounded claims of voter fraud in several states. My question to the American people, is McEnany just another Lewinski and will we in the fullness of time learn about some illicit affair between her and Trump or is she really that brainwashed, that she believes every word she speaks, you tell me! Either way, Trump must have some real dirt on her, for her to be that loyal and it wouldn’t surprise me if there was dirt on the rest of the Republicans that are standing by this mentally challenged individual the extremists in the United States of America call President.

On that note I will jump the pond back to dear old Blighty and check out what has been going on here. So, the UK is striving on in the grip of this pandemic which has claimed another 563 lives in the last 24 hours while another 33,470 people have tested positive for coronavirus, the highest daily figure recorded since the pandemic began, according to government figures, bringing the total number of cases in the UK to 1,290,195 and the number of UK deaths since the start of the pandemic has surpassed 50,000. This is what we as a nation face and all the sitting government does, is backstab each other instead of finding a solution to the crisis. The lockdown is clearly not working! If the numbers are anything to go on. Johnson hides away in his office as cabinet ministers and aides trundle in and out of the doors of Downing Street mostly unmasked which is just ridiculous, do they think they are immune or something?

The latest on the NO. 10 rumour wagon is that Dominic Cummings will be leaving his post by Christmas, yet another rat leaving the sinking ship. Does this mean Johnson is ready to bail on the country as well? We can only hope. As the Downing Street shuffle carries on behind closed doors, the country suffers without a definitive direction other than stay safe, stay home if possible and beware of the distance you consider relevant.

So as Christmas quickly approaches people are becoming disheartened with the split in the policies considered individually by the four nations of the United Kingdom and the lack of union between the first ministers of each nation and the primeminister. This is still a moot point, even though a virtual meeting to discuss the combined approach to the festive season was held earlier in the week. The Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish first ministers attended the virtual meeting with Cabinet Office minister Michael Gove and other senior UK officials, but not Johnson. This meeting was the first of what UK ministers hope will be weekly meetings to discuss topics including international travel, mass testing and the priority list for vaccinations. Gove stated, they all recognised families across the UK “want to be able to see their loved ones this Christmas”. I ask you, how can a virtual meeting be held with first ministers to decide on policies without the national political figurehead? Is Johnson afraid to face the other three leaders? Or is he just that narcissistic that he believes they aren’t worthy of his time?

This man [Johnson] needs to go and go quickly, so we can get someone or some coalition of someone’s capable of devising a way forward that actually works for the whole of the United Kingdom and discusses how all four nations can multi-laterally defeat this invisible enemy once and for all. Because as we stand we are no better than America which has no leadership at all at this present time. The comparisons between Trump and Johnson just keep mounting up and none of them are good. Both men believe that ‘The needs of the few, out way the needs of the many’ [And before any trekkies tell me I got the quote wrong, look at the context I am using it in] as they systematically implement policies, taxes and laws to benefit the wealthy or elitists within their countries and both have been suggested to be in collusion with Putin. Anyway until Trump is forcibly removed from the Whitehouse and Johnson is booted out of Downing Street nothing will change because they just can’t see the damage they are doing to their countries and the lives of the people they are supposed to serve. On that I will call it a day and a week,

Rant you tomorrow!

Back Monday.

Thursday 12 November 2020

12/11/2020

So yesterday we all remembered those heroes that lost their lives in war, so today can we finally start to understand the loss the world is suffering today and do something about it. Each nation of the planet has recorded deaths due to coronavirus, but only a handful has done something that effectively slows down the spread while others just pre-empt further super spreader events causing the death toll to exponentially rise out of control. On that let’s have a look what has been happening, shall we?

So in America as thousands keep on dying, instead of doing something about it Trump still refuses to concede to the fact that America spoke and told him enough was enough as they decided Biden should take on the mantle of President of the ‘Un-United’ States of America. As Biden starts to consider the people he wants to stand at his side in the new cabinet, Trump keeps pushing ‘BS’ and untruths down the publics throats as he and certain members of the Republican Party still deny the inevitable fact, ‘They lost the election’. Trump is now attacking Dominion, the company whose software powers voting machines around the US as fraudulent. The problem is Trump's position, in defiance of political norms and traditions and it is sending tremors throughout the nation, as public officials and American voters react to a situation that, while telegraphed for months in advance, is still travelling uncharted terrain. And all this is down to Republican politicians thinking about their future, both in working with the incoming Democratic administration and in winning moderates in elections to come. Unlike the president, they're in no mood for scorched-earth tactics. Their political timeline is measured in years, not days or weeks, so the name of the game for Republicans is patience. They accept that the president has a right to make his claims, give him time to vent his frustration, but figure that there will be no evidence of sufficient magnitude to change the election results. But through their actions, if not their words, they're acknowledging that come January, there will be a new president. Trump, too, shall pass. Again and again within the political arenas of the world, not only America you can see individuals securing their own income before even giving one second of thought to how their actions is effecting the common person who is suffering the indignity of poverty, unemployment and uncertainty of their futures. This is fact not fiction and they are self-first, self-last and always looking out for where the next corrupt act will take them!

Trump can’t look outside of America for support as leader after leader are congratulating Joe Biden for his rise to President, even those that Trump considered good allies, which if it be said was very few indeed. A lot of talk has been around Trump in the past week, but you have to think about all the people that supported him behind the scenes, like Pence and his staffers who at this time are probably concerned for their futures. Will they have job opportunities or will they have doors slammed in their faces due to the fact they chose to work for the worst president in the history of the country. My personal view is if they were the face of Trumpism they should be cast on to the scrap heap of life especially people like Barr, Giuliani, McEnery and Pompeo to name a couple for the unconstitutional rhetoric they have presented not just before and during the election, but especially now with their words of attack on the very democracy the country was built upon. The problems will come as Pence is welcomed with open arms back in to the evangelical fold who are right now devising plans to put Pence on the ticket for 2024 probably with a staunch religious female conservative as his running mate, so they can carry on preaching their biblical rhetoric which will try and push the word of their ‘God’ down the throats of the unworthy. Pence and the ‘God’ squad, even the corrupt senators like McConnell, Graham and Cruz are not the nation’s biggest enemy. Not even Russia, China and North Korea, the Islamic State (IS) or the Muslim terrorist groups should cause concern [But should be feared a little]

The biggest threat to America is Trump himself! He is mentally unstable which he has proven time and time again which is concerning and never in history has a president refused to accept defeat with humility, but has instead chose to systematically divide a country, pushing it closer to a civil war. If Trump is seen to be dragged from the Whitehouse in cuffs the world will rejoice, but that will be the catalyst for home grown terrorists to implement and start a civil war targeting Biden, Harris and the Democrats for death. Mark my words America’s gun laws will be the downfall of the country as Militias, White Supremacists and Neo-Nazis rise from the darkened vaults they exist in, to cause chaos nationwide. America you have spoken, but now is the time to de-radicalise the movements who believe force is the answer for the country mistaking fascism for patriotism, twisting the words of the forefathers to suit their belief system that white superiority should rule and any other colour is inferior to them and should be either destroyed or returned to servitude as the Confederacy once portrayed. But one of the scariest issues in America’s constitution is actually the 22nd amendment which states no one person can be president for more than two terms, but doesn’t stipulate a time frame for that policy. So there is an extreme chance that Trump will be considering a run for the presidency again in 2024, which is a very scary thought and the amendment should be changed to stipulate a defeated one term president cannot re-run in my humble opinion.

On that scary realisation I will take a look at the problems that face dear old Blighty on this chilly November day as we head to the end of the year of hell called 2020. As England starts its second week of lockdown Johnson is facing increased scrutiny for his decision making that has seen fifty thousand deaths, an economic crash, Big Brother style laws been implemented, countless U-turns on decisions and a failed Brexit plan. The latest issue to befall Downing Street is the supposed in-fighting going on which has led to the resignation of a top aide who has been around in the background since the days of the ‘Leave’ campaign. Mr Cain who worked with Cummings and the Johnson was said to be set to become Johnson's next chief of staff which had led to consternation among some MPs and ministers because of the nepotism been shown to certain people who worked to remove Britain from its supposed European shackles, but now that is just another headline heading in to journalism archives. Because not only is Blighty suffering from a pandemic, we are suffering from governmental incompetence which is been broadcast if not hourly, definitely daily.

Labours leader has voiced concern once again for the way his opposition iss handling the countries predicament stating “This is pathetic. I think millions of people will be waking up this morning, scratching their heads, saying what on earth is going on? We're in the middle of a pandemic, we're all worried about our health and our families, we're all worried about our jobs, and this lot are squabbling behind the door of No 10. Pull yourselves together, focus on the job in hand”.

I myself, am growing more and more concerned about both the countries future after the pandemic and Brexit because I don’t see an avenue where Britain regains its footing as a world power anytime soon because come January we as a nation will solely be in the hands of the white privileged toffs like Johnson and Starmer with no European oversight for the civil rights of the common person either in law or life. Whichever party is in power they will have unilateral decision making power over how we the people are ordered to live our lives and that to me is a scary prospect returning us back in time to when law protected the wealthy and sentenced the poor for just been from a different class. Post Brexit, post pandemic there will be a real panic as trade ceases and unemployment rises, not to mention the living wage will no longer be determined by the EU, but will be decided on by money hungry sycophants who have never known what is like to live hand to mouth, deciding whether to keep warm or put some food in their bellies. I keep repeating myself over and over that no one in parliament understands what it is like to survive on Universal Credit and how depressing it is to see nearly 90% of the money you get go to pay extortionate bills just so you don’t starve or perish of cold. There is no chance of staying debt free because if you suddenly need something you never budgeted for yet another decision needs to be made, do I go without whatever that item is or do I go to someone who will charge the earth in interest for the money borrowed. It is a never ending vicious circle of depravity, not unlike the time of our ancestors who lived during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries who were also downtrodden by the wealthy of the time. Life is a circle of birth and death, but it is also a circle of poverty which has never been eradicated just made invisible to those who never experience it first-hand. In the fifty years of my life, since the age of twenty I have spent half employed and half unemployed, but at least when I was unemployed in my twenties I could see light at the end of the dark tunnel. All I see these days is a life of poverty which I will estimate will hit me realistically in no more than three years depending how frugal I am with the little savings I still have. I have tried to re-educate myself, but I am up against a very high brick wall which I cannot see a way of scaling or going round due to those freshly unemployed people and the very young who can be seen to be moulded easier than this old dog.

What I think I am trying to say is the depressed future this planet faces is only going to get worse and no nation will escape the very dark times ahead, especially those that are governed by inept individuals unfit to call themselves world leaders and let’s not forget the likes of Branson, Zuckerberg, Musk, etc. who instead of using their fortunes for the betterment of humankind, they lock themselves away hording their wealth as if they can take it with them in to death. I am no socialist, but I do believe in a fair tax on a fair income and that is not the case in many a country as the wealthy just keep getting wealthier while the downtrodden suffer the indignity of poverty or worse the injustice of homelessness that poverty can lead them in to. On that thought I will call it a day,

Rant you tomorrow!
