The weather is getting colder outside, but the kick back at inept politicians is just starting to warm up as more and more disgruntled people see their live and livelihoods crippled by the pandemic all politicians knew was coming, yet decided the economy was worthy of saving before the one million plus lives that have been lost. It is now mid-way through October and we have globally been in the grip of this virus for nearly a year, so let’s look at what the politicians are doing on this very cold October Thursday in the UK.

In America it’s politics, politics and more politics as Trump and Biden go head to head in the final stretch towards the US presidential election while Trumps Republican lackey’s serve at his feet trying to steamroll another Conservative Judge in to the Supreme Court and all this while the American people suffer, grow impoverished and die at the hands of the inept administration. Mitch McConnell sits through his debate cackling at his opponents every word who is a decorated female Marine pilot who has served her country, Lindsey Graham goes on live TV to plead for money to fight his African American opponent and Trump threw out more slanderess lies about Biden’s son in Iowa before expressing admiration for the Authoritarian leadership of Putin, Xi and Kim as he claimed Biden was unfit to be President, which is purely the ‘pot calling the kettle black’ and in contrast Biden thanks his supporters for their generous donations.

The next big political scene will be the rival town hall style broadcasts each candidate will give today instead of the original debate that was cancelled due to Trump’s positive diagnosis of COVID. Trump refused to have a virtual debate stating it wasn’t worth his time. On the flip side there won’t be any interruptions, insults or flagrant disregard for protocols although it will give Trump air time to hurl more slanderess abuse towards the Biden/Harris campaign. If I am coming off as biased, that is because I am. I am a English born UK citizen who sat in disbelief that the American public chose Trump back in 2016 as their preferred President, then over the past four years I have watched from a far as this so-called man has lied, cheated, subverted justice in all forms including a one sided impeachment trial and openly caused dissension throughout the world with his arrogant, narcissistic mannerisms always searching for the limelight, on occasions ignoring protocols when within the presence of other dignitaries, especially his blatant disregard for the Queen of our nation when he was in her royal presence. He should be imprisoned for his treasonous and illegal use of power to not only hoodwink the world, but the way he and his family have pocketed millions from the American tax payer by the systematic use of his own hotels and golf courses which were paid extortionate fees by the American government to house not only Trump and his family, but the hundreds of staffers, aides and secret service personnel that a president travels with.

Speaking of family, the first lady has finally been heard from as she wrote an essay entitled "My Personal Experience with Covid-19", published on the White House website. Do we really think she personally wrote it or was it ghost written for her? Anyway the point is that she used it to open up about her own supposed experience of been ill with the virus and also exclusively admitted that their son had also tested positive for the virus, yet showed no symptoms. To me it was just a puff piece trying to gain voters for her husband who carries on ignoring scientific advice on how to fight the spread of the virus using his so-called experience as a publicity stunt. My question to the American people is, was the Trump’s really sick or were they simply using it to gain sympathy after Trump’s atrocious debate debacle? You answer that one for yourselves!

Meanwhile back on Capitol Hill it was day three of the Barrett inquisition where Trump's Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett has declined to say whether a president can pardon himself. During the Senate hearing to decide whether she will be confirmed to the court, Judge Barrett did agree that no-one was above the law. On countless occasions Trump has stated he has the "absolute power" to pardon himself, part of his authority to grant clemency. Again we are seeing a person deflect questions that the American people want answered by someone who will be able to make a lifetime of decisions that will affect generations to come. The Democrats have also failed to draw Judge Barrett on issues like climate change, abortion, healthcare and LGBTQ rights which her religious convictions will almost likely sway her judgement on, while describing such matters as "hypothetical" questions. Due to the election looming the Republicans are hell-bent on pressing the nomination towards a positive confirmation to benefit themselves before the 3rd November election. I myself can’t understand how such a position that is supposed to benefit justice can be politicised so fragrantly and be allowed to be backed by millions of dollars of dark money from religious and business organisations wishing to gain a representative for their causes. Where is the democracy in that? You might as well open the whole country to the billionaires to pick and choose who should benefit from the hypocrisy, ‘OH SHIT’ you have already done that when you allowed Trump to take up residency in the peoples house of white, opening the gates of power to the devil himself. Did I forget to mention I detest Trump and all he stands for, just as much as I detest Johnson and all he stands for also, but that’s another matter altogether.

Speaking of Johnson, let’s hop the pond back to dear old Blighty and see want shitshow he has going on. Well as I said yesterday Blighty is back under authoritarian rule as Johnson’s early lockdown easing has failed causing the government to rethink its approach to fighting the pandemic. As the North east of England and the Greater Manchester area’s wait to hear if they will be joining Merseyside in the tier 3 band of lockdown protocols, London and Kent will placed in tier 2 as of midnight Friday. This tiering system is shambolic as local councils sit waiting for the Government to make the decisions that affect local economies rather than the elected councils themselves, once more a display of Johnson authoritarian approach to leadership which is more a ‘DO AS I SAY’ mentality than a ‘LET’S WORK TOGETHER’ one as he and his power hungry acolytes rule rough shot over the British public and industries laying down their own style of ‘DYSTOPIAN’ legislature. We are a nation under fire from within as some of our politicians who we stupidly elected in to power prove useless at their designated roles. This will only get worse until a global coalition is formed to combat both the pandemic and the rise of the fascist authoritarianism we are witnessing within politics today throughout the world.

As a person who lives in England I find myself admiring the Scottish First Minister for how she portrays herself and her role to the public in interviews and briefings which outclasses Johnson hands down. This dumbfounds me that a man like Johnson was ever elected to such a high position because if Nicola Sturgeon displays such a presence it is a crying shame she will never get the chance to govern the whole of the UK as she would be my pick for Primeminister. While Johnson bumbles and blunders through speeches and briefings while falling flat on his face with answers to direct questions which First Minister Sturgeon always appears to succeed at. All in all if both Nicola Sturgeon and Sir Keir Starmer were combining as a two party coalition I believe the nations of England, Scotland and Wales would be reacting better to this pandemic and the wider issues of Brexit than any past Conservative leader has done since Cameron stepped down as Leader.

You know as humanity comes to terms with the increased deadly effects of nature fighting back the less those handed the chance to politically make a difference declines. With each new government we hear the words spoken about combatting the rising dangers of climate change to us as a populous, but never see the actions taken to do what they have promised which is just heartbreaking. Also we are supposed to be passionate about equality and understanding of the complexities of the human psyche, yet we still openly condemn those who choose a lifestyle other than heterosexual and still sit in judgement those whose psyche tells them one thing while there body displays the opposite by trying to restrict the use of science to transform themselves in to what their brain says they should be. Religion is a personal choice and should never in this day and age be used to brainwash individuals in to believing they are less worthy or less righteous to a belief of their own just because they look or feel different to how a prescribed indoctrination of moralistic views is taught or preached especially by those that use the words of their religion to profit from or destroy a society. I myself, know I am a heterosexual man and who is still wondering if I have a faith at all, but I do know I don’t have the right to sit in judgement of my fellow man, woman or person for what they believe or feel is relevant to them. No one has the right to dictate how someone should act, whether white, black, brown, religious, non-religious, heterosexual, homosexual, bi-sexual or whatever you yourself label yourself as. And most of all no government who is sworn in and gives an oath to serve the people should be allowed to use their power to side with the haters of the world who deem themselves as the rightful heirs to humankind and should be allowed to apply their beliefs globally. This is just wrong and should at all costs be fought against to create a social and moral future for the generations who follow. On that I will call it a day,

Rant you tomorrow!
