Another day, another rant and the mentality of the world just gets more bizarre each and every day.

In America just when you think it couldn't bemuse you any more Trump one up's himself in the so many hilarious, but not funny ways. Yesterday during a trip to Whirlpool washing machine plant in Cleveland, Ohio Trump tried a new 'SPIN' on his public rants by stating that Joe Biden was "against God", ramping up attacks on his Democratic rival and foreshadowing an ugly election battle. Trying to gain support and make up ground on Biden in the polls in the crucial Midwestern states that were his path to victory in 2016, Trump went on to state that Biden wanted to take away peoples guns, destroying the Second Amendment before continuing on to say Biden wanted no religion, no anything, to hurt the Bible, to hurt God and was against God, against guns, and was against energy, their religious kind of energy which is rather hypocritical considering Biden is an avowed Catholic and has spoken frequently about how his faith has helped him cope with the deaths of his first wife and daughter in a car accident in 1972. In response to Trump's mentality retarded tirade a spokesman for Biden said in a statement on Thursday that Joe Biden's faith was at the core of who he is; that he's lived it with dignity his entire life, and it's been a source of strength and comfort in times of extreme hardship.

You know what bemuses me about American politics not just the electoral process and running of government, but how much religion plays apart in it from the evangelical hypocrites, to the catholic churches role behind so many scenes and how for a country built on freedom of speech and religion, how other faiths like Judaism, Islamism, Hinduism, Sikhism, etc. never seem to be used except to criminalise the people who worship something different to Christianity. At the moment you have a president who you rarely see, set foot in a church for fear of been struck down by the wrath of God for his countless sins openly using religion as a platform to incite the racial and religious divide further with profound contempt in every word he speaks being backed by the most corrupt religious order on the planet which is filled with money hungry preaches who couldn't give a damn about their flocks as long as the money rolls in giving them a lifestyle which is rich and prosperous while their congregations suffer in poverty. The other point about religion within politics is the way money is used to influence and further the causes which would return countries back to the middle ages of witch hunts where ignorance was controlled by priests making the uneducated believe anything the church didn't believe was blasphemy such as abortion, sex before marriage, homosexuality, transsexualism and all the other BS some, but not all religions openly preach. How they bribe and use their influence to elect their favoured politician in to power as a quid pro quo for future acts they may want pushed.

Basically the old saying 'Never Mix Religion with Politics' should be reworded for America to read 'Always Mix Religion with Politics' because not one president in modern times has been elected without a religious group using their money to influence or support their favourite, but the current president is the worst because he doesn't know where to draw a line in the sand and openly uses the bible or religion in his speeches to discriminate against people of different faiths which is so, so very wrong on all fronts because he wants to suppress the voting rights as well as the civil rights of certain bodies whether it be their religious, racial, sexual or political beliefs that don't follow his evangelical religious backers beliefs, which point blankly comes down to the amount of money to be raised by those religious ideologies.

On that I will move across the pond and see what else I can find to rant about. Well as the week meanders on towards the weekend we see multiple headlines pointing out how much Johnson is defending so many decisions that the government has made of recent such as the new planning laws, the failing 'Track and Trace' scheme and the worst defence since Cummings lockdown two hundred mile drive is his defence of a tory MP accused of rape which the party has refused to suspend.

Firstly his defence of the government overhaul of the planning process for house building Johnson has stated the new infrastructure levy on planning would be much simpler for developers and allow them to build a much bigger chunk of affordable housing while his opposite number Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer rebutted saying that it was a 'developers' charter taking councils and communities out of the equation and as for affordable housing, which is the critical issue at the moment the new rules says nothing and In fact actually removes the initiatives that were there already for affordable housing. On the back of Sir Starmer, Alan Jones, the President of the Royal Institute of British Architects concluded that while there's no doubt the planning system needs reform, these shameful proposals by the government do almost nothing to guarantee the delivery of affordable, well-designed and sustainable homes for those in dire need of housing. So once again we see a government hell bent of profiteering from the housing industry by opening the planning process up to wide ranging corruption, fraud and political backhanders for the right to build where, when, what and how the builders want without the local councils have the necessary time to review unethical or less environmentally friendly proposals.

Secondly there's the matter of the so called 'Track and Trace' scheme meant to prevent the uncontrolled spread of coronavirus which experts have warned, in England alone is not performing well enough, despite Johnson’s defence and insistence that it is world beating. The latest results showed 72.4% of close contacts of people who have tested positive for coronavirus were reached in the week ending 29 July, down from 76.2% prompting a certain nine Conservative MP's in Greater Manchester area to write a letter to the health secretary demanding “a more sophisticated approach” that would see decisions taken on a borough by borough basis or even town by town basis. Those MP's involved are unhappy that the entire region of 2.8 million people has been put back into partial lockdown since last Thursday after infections started to rise. The government's big brother style system basically rely's on people making phone calls to friends and family of a person who tests positive for the virus to advise them to self isolate, but the flaw in that plan is in the people receiving the calls or not as the case maybe. I know myself if I receive a call from a number I don't recognise I ignore it, so the answer is not to cold call people and have the infected person contact the other people in their circle that maybe infected rather than a stranger.

And lastly the defence of a decision to allow an MP accused of rape, violent sexual assault and coercive control which took place between July 2019 and January 2020, in Westminster, Lambeth and Hackney to continue in his role is just unforgivable and for Johnson to defend the Conservative party’s refusal to suspend that Tory MP accused of rape is pure boys protecting boys BS. As soon as that MP was taking in for questioning his position should have been suspended until the allegations were proved or disproved in a court of law and waiting to see if he is charged is purely outrageous sending the wrong message to the general public that yet again politicians are above the law, What is more worrying is that when the victim reported it to the people in charge of the party they openly refused to do anything telling her to go to the independent complaints and grievance scheme which brings in to doubt the ethical and lawful way the House of Commons is run and it should be no different from any other workplace where safety or the safeguarding of staff must be paramount and dealt with swiftly. Failure to suspend is yet another example of minimising violence against women and girls and failure to believe victims or survivors of abuse when they bravely speak out.

The basics of the three outlined topics is that as well as the ineptitude this current primeminister has shown in dealing with Brexit, COVID-19, Lockdown and so much more, his new catchphrase is 'Deny, Defend and Disguise' what is really going on and if he can't win that way bring out the big guns of 'Deceive, Mislead and Misrepresent' the facts. This current government is filled with power hungry individuals who seek their own euphoria rather than serve there constituents. We have a dystopian future at the hands of the renegades elected to serve as the combined nation is controlled big brother style by the sycophants in Whitehall and parliament, especially the real life spitting image puppet Johnson and his puppet master Cummings running the show. On that I think it's time to end for the day.

Rant you tomorrow!
