Let's start with America, Well in a unsurprising back peddle Trump now says wearing masks in public is needed, I wonder what actually passes for a genuine thought in this mans head as he compares himself to the lone ranger, does he not know the lone ranger covered his eyes not his mouth, but I suppose Trump covering his mouth is a vast improvement on him opening it to spout shear BS all day long. His latest tweets surely display this mans allegiances to Russia as he once again calls the bounty on allied forces by Russia yet another fake news story by his enemies to damage him and the Republican party in the upcoming elections calling the NYtimes story a hoax, while continuing in another tweet to blame China for the pandemic writing "As I watch the pandemic spread it's ugly face (has he looked in the mirror lately) across the world, including the damage done in the USA (I thought the pandemic was a hoax) I become more & more angry at China", but what's even more concerning is that after withholding aid to democratic governed states who didn't personally thank him for his help, he suddenly requests the US Navy to send the USS Comfort to Arizona to aid in the upsurge in virus cases just a week after his no mask, no social distancing, unnecessary re-election rally for three thousand idiots isn't that a surprise. Clearly this guy is unhinged and needs to be checked for dementia pronto as he still believes he knows more than the experts who have dedicated their lives to research and treatment of infectious diseases, OH and by the way dementia is a disease Mr President not a fake news hoax to damage your reputation.
On that note let's switch to dear old blighty and check out what our own government BS is being spread. Well it looks like there's nothing for me to rant about except a small headline about cross border cases between North West England and Scotland which they say is not unexpected as lockdown is eased. But really what is been said under the breath is "Sassanchs stay oot, we dinna want your pocks" (apologies for my humour, I respect all Scots) which is not surprising when they have controlled their virus outbreaks better than England and have a better government leader. One other little headline is that the band McFly have signed their first record deal in ten years, which is good for them, but is it really headline worthy news BBC. Where is the news about Johnson's inept handling of this countries welfare over both the pandemic and Brexit, his back handers for contracts, his inability to string two words together when under pressure and not his inability to do something with his hair. That's me done for today.
