So it's midweek again in the on going battle with the pandemic and the world governments not having a clue what to do about it. Let's take a look at the fall out for today.
In America as the number of deaths rockets towards the two hundred thousand mark, the Trump administration appears to be more concerned with wasting money to keep Trump out of jail and slander his opposition rather than the growing death toll which he just keeps on lying about in speech after speech. Trump's campaign coffers are dwindling away as the money is spent on unnecessary law suits while also paying Trump family and friends extortionate wages for nothing. A prime example is Trump Jr's girlfriend who is the Trump campaign's director of donations who recently sacked the whole team dealing with enticing million dollar donations to the Trump/Pence 2020 election fund and replaced them with her friends who know nothing about how to raise donations. This is why yet another Trump business is heading towards bankruptcy. While the campaign team pays for the nonsensical lawsuits like blocking mail in voting, they are also paying for the lawyers defending Trump and other family members who have been indicted on several on going federal and state cases which the Trump's should be personally paying for out of his billionaire bank accounts. What is even more despicable is the news that the US Department of Justice under AG Barr will be defending Trump in a defamation liable case from a woman who accuses him of raping her. Under a court filing, the department is moving to replace the president's private lawyers and take over the case. Columnist E Jean Carroll accuses Mr Trump of assaulting her in a Manhattan department store in the 1990's. In a lawsuit, she argues the president defamed her when he denied her claim by saying she "wasn't his type". Trump has until now been represented in the case, which was filed in New York state court in November 2019, by his personal lawyer Marc Kasowitz. Trump's critics openly critical of the move have stated that during his presidency he has compromised the US justice department, which is meant to operate independently of the Whitehouse. The move by AG Barr comes a month after a state court judge threw out Trumps injunction case claiming Trump could not use a legal immunity defence in the case. This is what happens when you put a highly dishonest individual in to a position of power like the President of the United States because that person will use the power for evil instead of good which has been proven over the years in many nations ruled by an iron fist or dictatorship.
As more and more videoed evidence of police brutality comes to light and people take to the streets in protest of the impunity law which allows people of authority to walk away from their actions without repercussions what do you see your president doing? Trump is openly condoning the use of violence to subdue suspects and protesters by tweeting white privilege culture profanities. In response to the incidents in Rochester, New York Trump, a Republican who is accusing Democrats of being anti-police ahead of November's election, tweeted about the resignations of the police chief and his deputy stating that "The Democrat Mayor and, of course Governor Cuomo, have no idea what to do. New York State is a mess". The problem isn't really the tweets, the problem is the psyche of the man behind the tweets and his inbred racist and sexist narcissism that allows his mind to blurt out such slander. The latest of those presidential nominee attacks are clearly aimed at Kamala Harris claiming that she would never be the first female president in US history because it would be an insult to the country, so would it be an insult because she is a strong independent woman or would it be because she is of Jamaican and Indian decent making her not only a woman, but a woman of colour. It doesn't really matter because she falls in to both the racial and sexual category which Trump hates. What really amuses me is that everyone who lives in America is an immigrant, the only true American is the descendants of the native tribes like Crow, Sioux, Mohawks, Apache, etc. and to think Trump believes he is a true American when in fact he is just another descendent of a poor European escaping the downtrodden existence and fleeing to the colonies, just like his foreign wife who probably married Trump for the green card privileges. When will Americans see they are just like the rest of us, a mongrel of many breeds trying to succeed in life instead of the pure blood breed they believe and wish themselves to be. Come on America see the righteous path which is to remove Trump from office now.
On that note it's off to dear old Blighty where we find ourselves facing a fine if we congregate in a group of more than six people. I am a single bloke with no close family, so it doesn't bother me one bit, but I do have distant cousins who have multiple family members which number in double figures, so how the hell can they get together with such a stupid legality in place. On the back of this new law the health secretary is now blaming people who get tested, but have no symptoms of COVID-19 and are not eligible for a test for the back log of unprocessed tests. So basically you have to be knocking on heavens door before your eligible to be tested, can this government get any worse than they are right now. Unfortunately we have just over three years to find out as the possibility of a new election is out of the question while Johnson subverts the preordained practices of Whitehall with everyday he spends in office.
In other news it also seems that Johnson is taking a page out of Trumps playbook which is 'do what you want until you get caught then deny you ever did it in the first place'. In recent days we have seen reports of the Brexit plan already agreed last year and signed been torn up when it comes to dealing with Northern Ireland post Brexit along with other key trade deals scrapped, but all these steps and decisions made by Johnson could be unlawful as they push to implement legislation that is not agreed upon by all parties involved. So once again we see Johnson making unilateral decisions rather than sitting across the bargaining table trying to appear as a hard nosed negotiator who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. I have said it before and I will say it again between America and the United Kingdom we hold the record for allowing the most inept and narcissistic men gain power, even when we know that politicians lie and use subterfuge to gain their political ambitions, but once there prove incapable of keeping any promises or even telling a simple true fact without embellishing on there superiority to stroke their ego. Today was just a quick mid week rant which went around the houses, but got nowhere. I will call it a day,
