In to the weekend we go wondering when or if this year of torment will end and needing for the current problem suddenly vanish. One can dream I suppose, but let's get down to the matter at hand.

Firstly in America, so as Trump made a whistle stop trip to Florida to make a speech about god knows what or for why he became a laughing stock in the media as pictures showed a less than stellar turn out of around possibly one hundred Trump acolytes who did not wear masks or socially distance and they wonder why Florida has seen a rise in coronavirus deaths. During that speech Trump told them that Biden would not make the police a priority and played the racist card defaming the characters of good loyal American women of colour whom have stood up to Trump and his lackey's in congress. This is the man that America thought was a good choice over a white female with experience in government, that dumbfounded me four years ago and still dumbfounds me today that certain radical idiots still back him.

Other news which astounds is that, while America is in the midst of its worst death rate from a virus and renewed civil unrest rises across the country what is Trump's priority? His Priority is his on going one man feud with China, First it was Huawei that he targeted, now it's Tik Tok under threat from Trump's administration which he claims is another Chinese company using its technology to spy on Americans. You know what? this is really starting to sound like another country in the world who bans outside companies and is controlled by a dictator. Is Trump trying to turn America in to North Korea by any chance? He started with Chinese owned companies, he is also starting a one man war against companies like Twitter, Facebook, Apple and Alphabet as well his on going fight with any news outlet that doesn't speak highly of him calling them fake news. What is clearly apparent, is that Trump idea which is openly fascist, even a little communist is that all big tech and big communication companies should be owned by the government so they can spy on the people and spread propaganda. In other words Trump believes that he has the God given right to revoke freedom of speech and control what is seen or heard by the people by returning America back to a time before its independence from Britain, introducing a regime similar to that of Hitler, Stalin, Franco and Castro of the past and what North Korea has been doing since the end of the second world war. America you have a dictator for a president who will tear your constitution apart should you let him. He has already implemented Marshall law and brought back racist views to the forefront, you know if he had lived in the days of slavery he would have been a plantation owner and supported the confederacy while cowering in his mansion finding a way to escape leading men in to battle. I also know one other thing, if he had been one of King George's officers under Wellington during the Napoleonic wars, one of his soldiers would have shot him in the back for as it is written in the 'Sharpe' tales by Bernard Cornwell, Trump would've been classed as a 'Murdering Officer', One who sends his men in to a battle knowing they will be killed.

On that cheery note, let's move on to the other 'Murdering Officer' in dear old Blighty. So Johnson's massively successful handling of the pandemic has hit a bump in the road as he postpones the next phase of lockdown easing in England, due to come in this weekend, for at least two weeks after an increase in coronavirus cases. Casinos and bowling alleys will remain shut, while face coverings will be mandatory in more indoor settings, such as cinemas with a statement from  England's chief medical officer, Prof Chris Whitty, warning that the UK may have hit its limits on easing restrictions stating that the "idea that we can open up everything and keep the virus under control" is wrong. He was then asked whether it was safe for England's schools to fully reopen to all pupils in the autumn, his reply was that it was a difficult balancing act, but England has probably reached near the limit, or the limits, of what we can do in terms of opening up society. What I am hearing is that the government hasn't got a F****** clue what they are doing and has run out of idea's on how to tackle this deadly virus. Yes we have won the little battles with the number of daily deaths decreasing, but we are nowhere near winning the war and eradicating COVID-19. Companies on the verge of reopening are having to reconsider and reimpose furloughs for staff while other businesses are facing the likelihood of bankruptcy, this is not what a government should look like!

We are now living in a world where nature is fighting back with deadly viruses, more and more natural disasters - like hurricanes, Tornado's, Floods and Draughts - and an ever increasing veracity of these disasters leaving people dead or homeless. One major step needed is for a global body to oversee how we can slow down or stop what is happening to humanity rather than the current selfish stance been used by certain countries to look out for their own interests before the planet. That's all I've got for today.

Rant you tomorrow!
