And we arrive at Thursday once again with more of the lockdown eased in the UK and more revelations of police authorities racist attitude in the US, so let's see what there is to rant about today.

In America, while the peaceful protests calling for equality and racist police to be prosecuted keep getting brutally attacked by those very police around the country, in Rome, Georgia an all white police unit just stood by and watched as a KKK protest walked by spouting its Nazi propaganda instead of forcefully removing them, whats the difference except those clans people were probably carrying weapons like machine guns or have a concealed weapons permit with a hand gun in a shoulder holster under their jackets while the innocents attacked day in day out over the past few weeks were unarmed and they wonder why racists get away with murder whether they be civilian or police prompting one author to refuse to have any of his books that are turned into movies or TV shows filmed in the state and asking other film makers, TV show producers and authors to join him until the voter suppression and inequality is fixed in the state of Georgia as it is typical scene of that area where slavery and segregation was prominent and all Trump is doing is promoting his plans to hold his first re-election campaign rally for several months in Tulsa, Oklahoma on the date that African Americans celebrate the end of slavery. The rally will take place on June nineteenth, known as "Juneteenth" In the city of Tulsa at the site of one of the worst massacres of black people in US history which happened in 1921. He also yesterday stated that he will "not even consider" renaming military bases named after Confederate generals as the facilities were part of "a Great American heritage". His remarks followed reports that top military officials were open to changes amid nationwide soul-searching after the death of George Floyd and as for many, those symbols of the Confederacy around the country within those slave holding southern states that was the eventual reason for the 1861-65 American Civil War evoke a racist past.

While all this is going on in Georgia, Trump is hiding it is fortified house of the people and is retweeting one of his son's tweets advertising the reopening of their Miami golf course saying that the Trump family never asked for any federal money to keep the business afloat. Well the money wasn't needed when the president of the United States gives out free publicity through twitter to his eighty two million followers and also funnels money in to the business by over charging the secret service for rooms, food and hiring of golf carts to keep his worthless ass alive, not to mention the campaign donations and inaugural ball backhanders moved from election bank accounts in to private Cayman island bank accounts.

So while trump fights for the right of the Nazi's, white supremacists and the KKK, I wonder what there is to rant about today in dear old Blighty. Well nothing more on protests for equality except more statues are been vandalised even if they don't represent figures of history who were involved in the slave trade or slave owners. So the big news in the headlines is the briefing from Downing Street stating we can now have a support bubble which in layman's terms means single people or single parents with children under eighteen can now stay with relatives to combat loneliness, but does not apply to those classed as vulnerable or shielding and does not mean you can bounce from house to house. He has also recognised the fact that most children will not get back to school till September (weeks after everyone else knew that for a fact) and has devised yet another flawless governmental plan to get children caught up with their education, meanwhile Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has accused ministers of "mismanagement" over the reopening of schools, saying the government is putting the welfare and education of children at risk.

The disturbing part (except the virus of course), for me is that the so called prime minister of the United Kingdom keeps talking about and is only making the rules for us poor idiots who live in England and is allowing us to become even more of a split nation of four separate areas rather than a whole United Kingdom. All I say is before the concrete wall goes back up between England and Scotland let me know, so I can relocate north of the wall where I believe our Scottish neighbours are better treated by their specific first minister than this present buffoon (hiding out in downing street) and his cabinet of ineptitude. As someone born and bred in England I pity us right now because Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland appear to have a better type of leader than England.

Rant you tomorrow!
