In to the first week of October we go with a future of extreme uncertainty. We are heading towards 2021 with an expectation of more troubled times under regimes that are ineffectively fighting the global pandemic. Let’s see what the latest that’s our profound leaders are doing.
In America we once again see the narcissistic tendencies of Donald J. Trump as he took a joyride just so he could wave at mask less moronic idiots waving flags outside the Walter Reed hospital in Bethesda, Washington. Trump was seen waving like an idiot to well-wishers from behind the glass of a sealed car after tweeting that he would leave the hospital to pay a “surprise visit” to “patriots” outside. Inside the car, at least two people could be seen wearing protective gear in the front seats, with Mr Trump sat in the back. Experts have stated the president's short car trip broke public health advice to quarantine when seeking treatment for the virus, and may have put Secret Service agents inside the vehicle at risk of infection. The Presidential SUV used for the joyride is not only bulletproof, but hermetically sealed against chemical attack which increased the risk of Covid-19 transmission inside. This just proves that the ‘Idiot in Chief’ cares little for the safety of the Secret Service agents who have sworn an oath to protect the life of the president, no matter who that maybe. What kind of person decides that a joyride for the sake of a photo op is more important than the safety of the individuals around them?
Questions need to be asked to whether or not Trump has actually got COVID-19 and was this weekend just another publicity stunt for Trump to try and appease the growing exodus of Trump supports. If he has the coronavirus, why was he allowed to leave the hospital against CDC protocols for people confirmed with COVID-19 and how can he be released to go back to the Whitehouse where there are so many more people and staff he can infect. Come on America if this latest stunt by your supposed leader of the free world doesn’t make you want something better, then be it on your moronic heads. While Trump plays his he or isn’t he ill games, his opposition shows a compassionate side rather than the narcissistic side showed by Trump by wishing Trump a safe recovery, which if the tables were turned Trump would not do.
I can’t rant anymore about the United States of Trump Morons any more today, so let’s skip the pond and check out dear old Blighty. So the Governments privately owned ‘Track & Trace’ scheme is corrupted by a technical glitch that meant nearly 16,000 cases of coronavirus went unreported delaying efforts to trace contacts of people who tested positive. Public Health England said 15,841 cases between 25 September and 2 October were left out of the UK daily case figures which meant the figures reported suddenly jumped from Saturday's figure of 12,872 new cases to Sunday's 22,961 figure. This meant that while those who tested positive have been informed, yet those others in close contact with the 16,000 were not. Labour has described the glitch as "shambolic".
Meanwhile on the back of this colossal glitch, the head of the government's vaccine taskforce, Kate Bingham, has stated that less than half of the UK population could be vaccinated against coronavirus and that there is going to be no vaccination of people under 18 meaning the vaccination’s will be an adult-only vaccine for people over 50, focusing on health workers, care home workers and the vulnerable. So the over fifties are at more risk than under eighteens which is not totally surprising, but the lack of a vaccine at this present time is more concerning to the public who are suffering with death, infection, job loss and a future of uncertainty, and all Johnson could say during the Andrew Marr show on Sunday last, where he was interviewed was, that “it could be bumpy through to Christmas” and beyond as the UK deals with coronavirus and then followed that statement up by saying there was “hope” of beating COVID calling on the public to “act fearlessly but with common sense”. How can anyone feel safe when the highest politician in the nation calls what people are going through as ‘BUMPY’? For god’s sake we have to put up with this idiot for just over three more years which doesn’t give me as a fifty something any ‘HOPE’ for my own future let alone the future of the nation.
This world has gone mad! With men in charge who don’t give a damn about the safety of their electorate and would rather deny their own national as well as the wider global death tolls which now exceeds ‘ONE MILLION’ people. And Yes I say men, because the countries managing to control the virus are mostly governed by women! In America you have a President and Republican Senators who have proven they are the most untrustworthy men the country, only concerned for their own corrupt financial stability while in Britain the Primeminister and the cabinet is made up of men again solely concerned with only themselves rather than the people they are supposed to serve. The world needs to come together and use the pen rather than the sword to conquer good over the evil that currently presides over our freedom and security. In one last comment I hail the rise of the ‘Proud Boys’ as the world filled with the gay men out there hijacking the headlines proclaiming themselves as the ‘REAL PROUD BOYS’ is just phenomenal and I am 100% heterosexual, but support those true Gentle Men of the planet who are choosing love over racial and xenophobic traits.
