Well welcome to week (I think) six of the lockdown and My mind is scrambled with it. Let's see if I can unscramble and do some ranting.

So , in America Trump's administration is pushing the China did it scenario and that COVID-19 was man made by them, but refuses to share the evidence with congress. So Trump has his idiotic staff preaching his insanity once again. Also Trump did one of those so called town hall events virtually where he sat with Fox news in front of the Lincoln memorial televised and preached more propaganda to fuel his re-election campaign telling the moronic idiots that will believe he was GOD if he told them he was, so is Biden going to get the chance to be televised in front of Lincoln too? In this town hall event he predicted two things, one was that there will be one hundred deaths from the virus and two, that there would be a vaccine by the end of the year. These two predictions are just that predictions, unless he is now psychic as well, he has no way of knowing either will happen.

During that interview when questioned about the vaccine timeline estimated at twelve to eighteen months off, he replied "The doctors would say, well you shouldn't say that. I'll say what I think... I think we'll have a vaccine sooner rather than later." , more BS from a man who also rejected claims that his administration had failed to act quickly enough at the start of the outbreak, saying: "We did the right thing.", and then went on to blame the intelligence community for failing to raise concerns about the outbreak until 23 January, which was outlined by US broadcasters CNN and ABC in reports that the president's intelligence briefings mentioned the coronavirus as early as 3 January. As well as that he again accused China for failing to stop the virus spreading saying "I think they made a horrible mistake, and they didn't want to admit it. We wanted to go in. They didn't want us there". This is clearly a man who will blame anybody, but himself for mistakes he makes and I have a question, what's with the hand gestures? every time he speaks he holds his hands in front of himself as if he is holding an imaginary bowl.

So with that, let's check out dear old Blighty for c*** ups and misinformation. So two things I have picked upon is that, one Boris Johnson is now calling for the world to unite together to work on a vaccine as it will be the only way to beat the virus which is all well and good, but is at least three months too F****** late and one again shows the ineptitude of governments allowing the proverbial closing the barn door after the horse has bolted scenario to happen. Secondly in an interview with SKY news former chief scientific advisor, Sir David King says "he is worried that ministers are setting the scientists up to be the fall guys" after he and other experts from the scientific community formed an independent SAGE to do interviews outlining what their discussions on the virus revealed. He also said "the job of SAGE is to give scientific advise only and on that advise given, it's the governments job to right up the policies to act on that advice. We took the decision to do interviews outlining what our advice was, so when the government says they are acting on scientific advice you then have the facts to check against", so clearly what we are been told is not what the government is been told, just more flim flam and BS been preached by an incompetent government.

The only good news out there is for the environment as once polluted streets start to clean as air pollution begins to drop due to lockdown.
