08/07/2020

Well folks it's another lovely day as we meander through life not knowing what BS to expect next, so shall we take a look.

First as usual in America, So Trump takes another step in alienating the US from the rest of the world as he once again formally takes steps to withdraw the US from the World Health Organization (WHO). Trump made it clear back in late May when he accused the WHO of being under China's control in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic and despite calls from the EU and others, he stated he would pull out of the UN agency and redirect funds elsewhere. Trump has now officially notified the UN and Congress of his intentions, although the process could take at least a year. A spokesperson for the UN secretary-general, confirmed the US had notified it of its withdrawal, effective as of the sixth of July 2021 which has being confirmed by a leading democrat on twitter stating that congress had received notification that POTUS officially withdrew the US from the WHO in the midst of a pandemic which will leave Americans sick and America alone in its fight. So the big question is where will the four hundred million dollars that the WHO don't receive go? will it go straight in to the big pharmaceutical companies pockets? (probably a percentage), Will it go it to providing better health care for the people? (probably not since he is trying to deconstruct Obamacare), Will it go into balancing a declining economy? (Probably not), Will it go towards the cost of Trumps pet project, his phallic symbol of a wall? (cutting north america off from south america, more than likely) or will it simply disappear in to the Trump bank accounts through more nepotistic jobs for the family? (highly likely). All I see as an outsider is a man hell bent on making himself a dictator or King and turning America back in time to the sixteenth century where slavery and indenture ruled rife across the the world.

Trump is also trying to use the heavy hand approach on the American education system as Texas is threatened with the loss of state funding for schools if children aren't back in school by the start of fall (in the UK we call it Autumn) which means most schools who have to do fund raising activities to fund things like the arts, drama, after school clubs and even certain sports will have to start fund raising to buy things like books, computers and even maybe to fund the utility bills which is just outrageous when you see a man sitting on his over-privileged as, whose niece a Doctor of psychology claims paid a friend to take the SAT test for him (a standardised exam which determines university placement) because he was worried that his grade point average, which put him far from the top of his class, would scuttle his efforts to get accepted in to a good college, so Donald dis what Donald does best, never lacking for funds, paid his buddy well to take them for him. Ms Trump further goes on to state that Trump attended Fordham University in New York City, but later transferred to the Wharton School of business at the University of Pennsylvania which the Whitehouse denies or should we say the Whitehouse has been told to lie about.

Ms trump also states that Trump exhibits all the characteristics of a narcissist, but his narcissism goes far beyond the garden-variety narcissism because Trump is not simply weak, his ego is a fragile thing that must be bolstered every moment because he knows deep down that he is nothing of what he claims to be. She says that Trump attitude was influenced by watching his father, Fred Trump Sr, constantly lose his temper and bully her father Fred Trump Jr (who died from an alcohol related illness when she was 16 years old) whom he wanted to take over the family real estate business. But as Fred Jr. drifted away from the business, Trump Sr had no choice but to turn to his second son, Donald which was not a happy choice because when things turned south in the late eighties, Fred Sr. could no longer separate himself from his son's brutal ineptitude and had no choice but to stay invested in the company instead of retiring, but his monster had already been set free on the unsuspecting world.

I could go on and on about how Ms Trump blames her grandfather, and uncle for her fathers death, how Trumps problem stems from spurned advances by women he thought should drop to their knees for him in his early years, her shock at the American populous electing her narcissistic uncle or how the election prompted her actions after waiting for a month, watching as Trump shredded norms, endangered alliances, and trod upon the vulnerable before deciding to contact a reporter to take Trump down by supplying tax documents to the New York Times, which they used to publish a 14,000 word investigative article into Trump's dubious tax schemes during the nineties, including instances of outright fraud, that greatly increased the fortune he received from his parents. This book is going to make Trump squirm for years to come and when he is defeated in November (I so dearly hope he is), what I would love to see is the FBI waiting at the gates of the whitehouse to place him in handcuffs and drag him of to jail for his many crimes.

So I think I should move on to dear old Blighty and see what the other narcissistic private schoolboy we dubiously call the prime minister has been up to. So as Johnson continues to take flack over his ridiculous claims that care homes are to blame over the amount of recorded deaths due to coronavirus a fresh headline has appeared stating that medical staff are no longer going to get free parking at many hospitals around the country which will lead to many members of staff looking for jobs elsewhere because if they have to fork out for twelve hours of parking (which is already an extortion for the general public who have to visit for treatment) on top of being staggeringly underpaid many nurses and orderly's will start looking for different employment where they are more appreciated with less hours and are not treated as slave labour. Charging for parking is the norm now, but it doesn't make it right to charge someone to come to work, even though they still charge cancer, dialysis and other patients requiring weekly or daily visits for the privilege of saving their lives which is just outrageous in my humble opinion, what next? Will the government cut back on what care people can get free as Johnson secretly plans to privatise the NHS like Trump wanted him to.

In other news, Chancellor Rishi Sunak is to announce a two billion pound kick start scheme aimed at creating more jobs for young people. This scheme is set to fund subsidised six-month work placements for people on Universal Credit aged between sixteen and twenty four, who are at risk of long-term unemployment which begs the question why only that age group what about the older generation over forty five who are dumped on the scrapheap and passed over by employers because there is no monetary incentive to get us back to work, the generation too old to employ, to retrain and too young to claim a pension, the generation that will become the burden of the nation as we grow older in impoverished circumstances or is that the plan to make things so desperate that we die off younger creating less of a strain on the state as we dwindle in to non existence. The labour party stated that more action was needed to tackle the "scale of the unemployment crisis" caused by coronavirus which is all well and good, but that doesn't help the unskilled long term unemployed. Also Sunak is expected to announce a temporary stamp duty holiday to stimulate the property market which would exempt the first £500,000 of all property sales from the tax which again doesn't help those living with unmanageable mortgage payments already caused by three months of furlough or those individuals living in rented accommodation who are struggling, where do these overpaid knuckleheads get there ideas from, I ask you, no I mean it, I honestly would like to know! and on that note I am calling it a day.

Rant you tomorrow!
