Firstly in America, As trump faces backlash on all sides, he just thought one little tweet wouldn't make a difference, but was he so wrong. The tweet called for the only African-American NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace to apologise to NASCAR officials and drivers for the so called hoax noose incident which occurred after Wallace who was instrumental in campaigning to ban the Confederate flag from races. Trump also claimed that attendances at races had fallen because of the decision to remove the confederate flag. In response Wallace sent out his own tweet condemning the words of "hate from the president of the United States". Wallace has been a vocal supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement which sparked a campaign to remove symbols associated with slavery, imperialism and the Confederacy from the nation, it's cities and sports while Trump has strongly defended the monuments as part of US history. So we once again see Trump's white privilege upbringing raising it's ugly head trying to save his reelection chances by appealing to the white voters or should we say the 'White Supremacists' of the south that even his Barbie doll press secretary couldn't find a convincing way to sweep under the rug (which must be pretty high by now with the BS they spout on an hourly basis) by stating that Trump was taking a much broader point that the rush to judgement on the facts before the facts are out is not acceptable (where's the issue with the fact that a noose was hanging in a garage of a NASCAR driver whether he be Black, White or even purple in colour is an unacceptable gesture) and even Trump's biggest allie Lindsey Graham has come out against Trump's views on the NASCAR debacle tweet stating as a business man from the Carolina's he see's NASCAR whose attendances have been falling slowly over the last two decades taking a move to increase the attendances by making a family friendly multicultural environment by banning certain visual and verbal images which are not conducive to the image they want to portray to the world and a sport of like minded supporters. What you are seeing right now is yet another Trump supporter scared of losing his cushy job stepping away from the hate fuelled tantrums of a madman quickly losing his reality on life which is definitely not a good sign that the US is been correctly led.
In other news it has been revealed that yet another book about the Trump's is going to be published as a former aide to Melania Trump has written a memoir about her fifteen year friendship with the US first lady. Stephanie Winston Wolkoff's book, 'Melania and Me', is due out on the first of September and it highlights how in two thousand and eighteen, Ms Winston Wolkoff was reportedly forced out of the White House, amid allegations that she had been profiteering from Trump's inauguration. To which the former aide refuted the claims and stated she was "thrown under the bus" as she denied claims her company received twenty six million dollars in payments to help plan the two thousand and seventeen inaugural ceremonies and surrounding events, saying her firm "retained a total of one point six million dollars". In her memoir, Wolkoff chronicles her journey from their friendship that started in New York to her role as the First Lady's trusted advisor to her abrupt and very public departure, to life after Washington, according to a description of the book published by Vanity Fair. So what we are now seeing is a very different picture of the First family as more and more skeletons coming goose stepping out of the Whitehouse closets, stories of people been fired for standing up to a corrupt gangland styled family to the innocents used as scapegoats to hide where the money was actually been laundered and what is really been done within the First family itself. That is now a total of three books up to now which has been written about the mob style family which has hoodwinked the populous for over three generations using lies, deceit, backstabbing and even the law to hide their true depth of contempt for anyone not deemed worthy of their loyalty or name. There is money laundering, physical and verbal sexual harassment of all ages, fraudulent transaction, tax evasion and even profiteering with charities set up to help, which are milked of there assets before claiming for bankruptcy. If these people were drug, sex or human traffickers they would be on the FBI's most wanted list, sought after and imprisoned, so what make Trump any different to El Diablo just because he sits on the American throne. Anyway I'm getting sidetracked again, let's take a look at Dear old Blighty on this fine Tuesday in July.
So we see that there is too main headlines today worth voicing an opinion about, the first been the backlash after Johnson stated too many care homes hadn't really followed the procedures set out during the coronavirus outbreak causing the fast number of deaths within the sector and that 'Yes ' it was important to fund the sector, but it needed to be properly organised and supported from within the sector first. Johnson remarks came as the head of NHS England's call for reform in social care within a year. Mark Adams, CEO of charity Community Integrated Care,replied calling Johnson's comments at best 'clumsy and cowardly' and that he was 'unbelievably disappointed' by the reaction. Mr Adams then went on to say that if he was been honest, if this is genuinely Johnson's view, I think we're almost entering a Kafkaesque alternative reality where the government sets the rules, we follow them, they don't like the results, they then deny setting the rules and blame the people that were trying to do their best, which is what I have been saying all along about Johnson, he lives in an altered state of reality due to his private schoolboy education where master's set the rules, but then let the top boy rewrite it to use against the younger boys to gain respect, dominance and brutality. This man was brought up in a totalitarian environment where those at the top can inflict what ever punishment they like on those below them transferring that distorted mentality in to everything he has done within his life and he is now looking for the next scapegoats to highlight as inept to cover up his own ineptitude in the handling of the coronavirus outbreak.
The second headline is that a number of pubs in England have shut after customers tested positive for coronavirus. At least three establishments announced they had shut their doors again just days after reopening at the weekend due to the bubbles within staff and visitors been found to contain at least one person who has tested positive for the virus, this is just a small percentage of the venues that reopened after three months as lockdown measures were eased, most apparently with no problems reported. The issue isn't with the venues been opened, the issues comes with the crowds descending on the venues as many have yet to be tested or show symptoms, but as the crowds in some towns and cities have prompted fears about social distancing rules being disregarded and the fact that this has a roll on effect like seen in Burnam on sea where a pub has closed due to a reported case which has had a knock on effect as two other businesses have had to close for testing and deep cleansing after staff who attended the first venue tested positive. So what this shows is that even with social distancing, one way systems in premises, one in one out policies with public conveniences and limiting the number of visitors inside, this virus is finding a way to be transmitted and will keep been spread until the government stops working against itself as four different nations and pulls together as a unified multi party government against the virus instead of one party in charge like it is right now.
Another factor is the government's stance on face masks in public which is that mask do not need to be worn outdoors even the head of the UK's national academy of science has stated that everyone should carry a face covering when they leave home in order to tackle coronavirus and that the face covering should be worn whenever a person is in crowded public spaces as there was evidence that masks protected both the wearer and those around them which has been proved in other countries, but the UK was "way behind" many countries in their usage because the government's message has not been clear enough" and the guidelines have been inconsistent which should be that masks should be worn when in any crowded space and carry on using the the social distancing protocols already in place. It is just one more nail in the governments coffin as they continue on their merry way in to the oblivion called two thousand and twenty, it's just like I wrote a couple of days ago about how I ventured out to a well known retailer on many high streets and retail parks only to find no obvious cleaning protocols for trolley's and baskets, no one way systems to stop customers interacting accidentally, no restricting of customers instore at one time, only floor markings to show social distancing lengths and worst of all I was the only person using a face covering out of at least thirty customers and staff instore while I was there. How can this virus be defeated when the populous don't want to adhere to the simplest of requests like those already set out, do we need to return to full lockdown protocols nationally like has happened in Leicester already. Some days I don't understand the mentality of humankind especially those who say they want to serve to make things better like Johnson and Trump, but secretly couldn't give a flying F*** about anyone but themselves and how big their bank account is. On that note I think I will call it a day.
